How I'm Spending Hallowe'en (Or: 'Saturday Night's All Right for Frightening')
Kiddo's going out trick-or-treating with her friend Lizzy and her dad until fairly late (meaning I'm likely going to have a pillowcase full of candy to check- hellooooo, toffee tax!), JJ's got a party to attend, and Kal's... well, taken root in the basement as is his wont. So it falls to your friendly neighbourhood sociopath to hand out the candy, as it usually does. No biggie, as this year I have my netbook upon which to watch movies. I've got Blood: The Last Vampire (the recent live-action production), the 2009 remake of Friday the 13th, and I may rewatch The Tournament (no word of lie, before 4 minutes have passed in that movie, a dude's fucking HEAD EXPLODES! YEEEAAAAAHHH!).
Plus, I've been practicing my Crazy Subitch/ Hannibal Lecter eyes in the mirror, and I think I've gotten pretty good (bad?). I can probably fuck a kid up pretty good if I flash 'em the "I'm gonna eat your face" grin for even just a split second, so if I run out of movies I can still amuse myself.
