I, and apparently another author from the same site, just got feedback for fics we wrote A VERY LONG TIME AGO.
It would appear that people are reading them using the Wayback Machine (or something similar) as the site that hosted them no longer exists. And I think people are doing that because there's a whole heap of mine (pretty much all of them?) archived in AO3.Some of them have kudos on them!.
This is
kind of embarrassing because OMG my first fanfic is right there in all it's glory, but without the Note that says "this is my first fanfic".
Weird because I feel like she should have asked first (I still have the same email).
More weird because she didn't even start with the best authors but seems to be/have been working alphabetically.
Late breaking realisation: My first porn is in there! I am now having flashbacks to writing my first porn and getting comments from my betas in an IM window (those were the days). They were pretty good comments - especially the ones from the Southern hemisphere. Oh glory...
