1) Husband has just arrived home. *bounces*
2) I find I can no longer bear to even contemplate reading Ten/Jack.
3) Bold font in large size, for the entirety of the fic, makes my head hurt.
4) Beta brain is in overdrive. Good job I am going home without my laptop tonight, as otherwise I would be tearing my hair out very soon.

*hugs*

Okay, I'm intrigued - why can't you read Ten/Jack any more? I know why *I* can't seem to enjoy it any more, but your aversion sounds stronger!

Well you know me, I never was a huge fan of Ten anyway. So I think a lot of it is to do with that. And I haven't exactly been reading a lot of fic either, because it's been very difficult. But now I'm making a conscious effort to get out there and read and engage with people again and I'm finding myself referring back to the fic headers to check it's supposed to be Ten I'm reading. Also - and remembering just how long I haven't been engaged with fandom for - a lot of what I'm coming across still seems to be 'make up' fic, or stuff I thought/hoped we'd have moved on from already *throws up hands in despair*

Basically, I think what I need, right now, is for them to have a ruddy great big dust up, and swear never talk to each other again.

Heh, I love Dean/Cas too and I've never even seen Supernatural! *g*

I've seen some Supernatural, I've even seen some maybe a couple of eps with Castiel in them, and I've liked the fics when I've come across them. But so much of Supernatural fandom is incest that I really don't want to go and play there.

Ah, right, so that is pretty much the same reason as me, then! Yeah, I find it hard to believe in Ten/Jack as a ship. I can see rough, angry/guilty sex but that's about it. And anything more than immediately after the year of hell, I just feel that Jack's moved on. He's got his answers, he's satisfied his yearning, and this man ain't the one he fell in love with.

On the other hand, I can totally believe in Jack/Eleven, because Eleven's got over a lot too and is a hell of a lot better adjusted and I can see that working *really* well. :-)

Yes.

And I'm beginning to think I've missed a lot more of Eleven than I thought I had - so now I think I have to go and watch them just so I can see how he and Jack would work.
