Book meme stolen from stackcats
1. Find a sentence / stanza / paragraph from a book / poem / what have you that you adore.
2. Write it out, along with the name of the source and the author's name, using your usual handwriting (and for extra points, your favourite pen)
3. Scan it / take a picture of it / etc. and post it.
4. Copy this to your journal

It's not that I *adore* A Study in Scarlet - I don't even own a copy - but I always hark back to this particular paragraph when asked for favourite quotes from books. So I was very pleased when it got referenced in ITV's BBC's 'Sherlock'.
I am rather fond of gel pens though, and have quite a stock of them littered around the place.
And before anyone asks. Yes, I did add in those underlines and queries as I wrote. *facepalms*
