All numbered Doctor Who stories on sale for £5 each :D
I've treated myself to
#1 The Sirens of Time
Gallifrey is in a state of crisis, facing destruction at the hands of an overwhelming enemy. And the Doctor is involved in three different incarnations - each caught up in a deadly adventure, scattered across time and space. The web of time is threatened - and someone wants the Doctor dead.

The three incarnations of the Doctor must join together to set time back on the right track - but in doing so, will they unleash a still greater threat?

#2 Phantasmagoria
The TARDIS takes the Doctor and Turlough to the London of 1702 where a mysterious highwayman roams the streets, a local occultist has made contact with the dead and gentlemen of fashion are disappearing, only to find themselves in a chamber whose walls weep blood...

The time-travellers become enmeshed in the hideous plan of Sir Nikolas Valentine, a gambler at the mysterious Diabola Club who always seems to have a winning hand...

#8 Red Dawn
Ares One: NASA's first manned mission to the dead planet Mars. But is Mars as dead as it seems?

While the NASA team investigate an 'anomaly' on the planet's surface, the Doctor and Peri find themselves inside a strange alien building. What is its purpose? And what is frozen inside the blocks of ice that guard the doorways? If the Doctor has a sense of deja-vu, it's because he's about to meet some old adversaries, as well as some new ones...

#24 The Eye of the Scorpion
Egypt is in mourning. Pharaoh, the great God-King, is dead. The future of the Two Kingdoms of Egypt is shrouded in uncertainty as the Council of Priests debates the claim to the throne of Pharaoh's only heir.

Out in the deserts around Thebes, Egypt's capital, a warlord chief is assembling an army of mercenaries, waiting for just the right moment to strike at Egypt's heart.

But not all of Egypt's enemies are outside the city. What is the secret of the strange box discovered in the desert?

When the TARDIS arrives nearby, it has apparently been hi-jacked... by the Doctor?
(All synopses quoted directly from the Big Finish website.)

I had sort of promised myself that I'd by Excelis Dawns, but when it came to it the lure of having some Five eps was too great. And then I simply had to leap ahead to that last one because I *really* want to meet Erimen Erimem (ETA obviously MUST learn how to spell her name! *sighs*) *g* Although even that that was a tough decision because I really want to meet Frobisher the sidekick penguin as well...

They also have some Big Finish related desktop wallpapers going free, so I downloaded them, and I must confess my favourite has to be one with images of the Sixth Doctor, mostly because a couple of them are red (though I'm wondering if I can maybe stick them in Paintshop Pro and change that), and one needs a warning for the extremely CREEPY! wooden dummy sitting on Charley/India Fisher's lap. *is frightened*

I must also confess to some non!Doctor Who related spending. The other day, pretty mush within minutes of finally managing to get to listen to June's podcast, I pre-ordered the - released January 2011! Starring Valentine Pelka, Richard Ridings, Marcus Testory and Peter Wingfield with Toby Longworth, Tracy-Ann Oberman (that's DW's wotsherface from Torchwood 1) and John Banks: []before their ultimate end, each was the target of a very personal vendetta striking to the core of the Horsemen's seemingly unbreakable bond. Now the secret history of Kronos, Silas, Caspian and Methos can finally be revealed.
These stories take place prior to the events depicted in Comes a Horseman, and a short time afterwards.

*squees* So many good voices... *drools over Pete wingfield's*

Can it be New Year NAO pls?
