I STILL Ate'nt Dead

I'm just trying to adjust to walking/cycling everywhere - WOW it takes a lot of time. I've not done so badly so far, only been late once. Let's just hope I can keep it up.

On the plus side:
I've lost about half a stone, which I needed to lose, in the last fortnight without trying too hard *g*
AND - courtesy of husband donating me his iPod (it used to be Middle Son's) and Middle Son donating me some itsy-bitsy headphones - I have managed to listen to a LOT of Big Finish Audios, despite only being able to use one of the headphones (in my left ear, my right ear just refuses to co-operate.

Middle Son's car is lovely by the way - I borroweded it to take his younger brother to judo last night - I think my only complaint is that when I cranked the seat up, so I felt comfy at the wheel, I felt like my head was far too close to the ceiling-- do cars have ceilings?

I'll be borrowing it again tomorrow as Judo!child is competing, and someone needs to get him there. Yes, it's County Trials time of year again - so I will be out all day.
County Trials is, basically, a bog standard, weight banded (ie the judoka fight against someone in their own weight category and their ages are immaterial*) judo competition that sees the four medallists (gold, silver and 2 bronze) being selected to represent their county.
*except for, you know... being separated into Juniors and Seniors *facepalms*

Last year he came 3rd out of the 15 boys in his pool.

Of course if it's County Trials time of year then that also means it's time I should be giving everyone I know that is involved in Tardis Big Bang a great big cheer (this one was shamelessly snitched from a comment left for me by donutsweeper)
Big Bang

Big Bang

Go Big Bang!!!!!!

judo, big finish audio, family, cheerleading, no!car
