We survived
We survived our shopping trip - and town wasn't too crowded. In fact it only seemed to start getting really bad as we were leaving.My stupid head didn't like the cold/shop lighting/SOMETHING but I've pretty much slept the resulting headache off, thank goodness.
Unfortunately my laptop has not survived the day; the jack has become totally detached from the power cord. So I am without Carrot now until husband can nip out (tomorrow hopefully) and buy a suitable replacement jack and attach it..
If it comes to it I'll borrow this machine off husband again at some stage so I can do the betas I have waiting using googledocs. I think that's okay with the people concerned?
