Hmmm it's odd - apart from one mammoth ongoing serial in a previous fandom - I've not really ever had a WIP folder on the go. Until now...

If you happen to be working on some creative writing project, fanfiction or NaNoWriMo or what have you, post exactly one sentence from each of your current work(s) in progress in your journal. It should probably be your favourite or most intriguing sentence so far, but what you choose is entirely your discretion. Mention the title (and genre) if you like, but don't mention anything else -- this is merely to whet the general appetite for your forthcoming work(s).
About that last bit... just don't get your hopes of me posting in anything like the near future okay??
An as yet untitled Jack story (S2 Torchwood, that I must not refer to as hand fic)
Interrogation rooms should always be damp, cold and damp, not hotter than hell and bone dry.
The sprawling Jack/Jack fic of doom (it has a plot and everything)
Jack checked his watch - 12 hours maybe less - the Doctor hadn't known what else had been changed - thirteen hours tops - and it would all be over. Bar the screaming.
The Adam thing
One minute he'd been a trusted member of their twisted little 'family' and now he was in danger of never having existed at all.
Jack/Ianto (yes really)
He'd gone to the Doctor's room of his own volition - knowing what was waiting for him - yet still he'd been surprised at the simplicity of it all.
and a final fragment - Jack naturally
...and if they are the keepers of his humanity as well he is careful not to let them know it.

It was the noise of Owen's pen - or rather the sudden absence of drumming - that drew the others' heads up from their work to see what was going on
