So I read Becky's latest Redux piece this morning and - as often is the case where Becky is concerned - got a bit liberated and wrote something.

Ooooh. This is a very interesting idea! I got a bit lost in the second paragraph, but that could be because it's early (for me).

I really love the bit about the Time Lords having lists of rules on the Master!

It's not because it's early it's because it's one of my loooong run on sentences *apologises*

This be the reason I need betas :D

Don't look him in the eyes. Don't listen to his voice. Don't let him kiss you. I can't imagine what influenced me there ;-)

Aaaah, okay. It does make sense if I read it slowly.

And I think the Master is far more dangerous than Captain John. If there's a list for John, there's probably a several volume handbook for dealing with the Master!

Oh, wow.

She was supposed to have freed him with it. He'd been very persuasive. Couldn't go without her. She was his, he was hers. They'd be together forever. She'd looked into his eyes and known it was the truth.

Fittingly all it had taken was the chameleon arch to break the spell, though the truth of it still held.

She'll be with him in Utopia. Forever and always his trusted companion, his confidant, his jailer.

OK, so I'm quoting like half of it here, but still. So much love for that. The creepiness of his persuasion followed by the creepiness of what Chantho is compared to what she appears to be -- very well done.

I luff you so much!

The Master always was good at the mesmerising wasn't he? And he was egomaniac enough to have thought it would stick wouldn't he? I mean that's kind of believable right?

He would totally have thought it would stick. (I'm convinced he had no idea what being human was actually going to be like.)
