What I Like About Being a SIX

being committed and faithful to family and friends

being responsible and hardworking. I don't know that I'd go so far as to say *like*

being compassionate toward others

having intellect and wit. Wouldn't anyone hate to be stupid? :s

being a nonconformist. Not much nonconformist about Jack/Ianto ;-)

confronting danger bravely. Apparently I see danger everywhere (see below) therefore I do this a *lot* more often than you'd think :D

being direct and assertive. SO not me - right up to the point when it is *absolutely* necessary!

What's Hard About Being a SIX

the constant push and pull involved in trying to make up my mind. Er no!

procrastinating because of fear of failure; having little confidence in myself. Um yes?

fearing being abandoned or taken advantage of. Taken advantage of certainly...

exhausting myself by worrying and scanning for danger. Not consciously!

wishing I had a rule book at work so I could do everything right. Definitely NOT - a rule book for other people? *maybe*

being too critical of myself when I haven't lived up to my expectations. My bar is low people it is *so* low as to be mistaken for a limbo pole

SIXes as Children Often

are friendly, likable, and dependable, and/or sarcastic, bossy, and stubborn. Apparently I was the first of these once but I genuinely don't remember because by the time I was 5 I was covinced I wasn't the second. Yes to sarcastic. NO to bossy.

are anxious and hypervigilant; anticipate danger. I anticipated getting made fun of - *for a reason*

form a team of "us against them" with a best friend or parent. Really NO

look to groups or authorities to protect them and/or question authority and rebel. Yes to the first one - much good it did me!

I was bullied at home (by the brother who is 9 years older than I - I still cannot bear to be in the same room as him); bullied at school becasue I had red hair and glasses; and did have an over anxious parent

are often loving, nurturing, and have a strong sense of duty. Guilty

are sometimes reluctant to give their children independence. No - leave the house already dammit!!

worry more than most that their children will get hurt. *wibbles* My children are outdoors/sporty people - between them they canoe, they bike, they do judo, they rock climb, they walk over the hills and far away... (in the dark without torches!) They are *statistically* more likely to get hurt!! :D

sometimes have trouble saying no and setting boundaries. *Really* not ask any one of them - I'll even try and set boundaries for their friends ;-)
