Dangus.

Dangus: adjective. replaces the word "dang."  ex. This dangus Angus burger is dangus good.

So last friday we had a presentation of our monologues for Dexter (acting teacher) and Bill (voice and speech.)  It was kinda nerve racking because it was audition style. We went in individually and presented both monologues. Just going in, not acknowledging the fact that we know our teachers...performing, then leaving the room.  I thought I did kinda shitty...i thought my voice wasn't always "on voice," and that i didnt' quite follow through w/my intentions. I got my notes on my work on monday and turns out i didn't do as bad as i thought.  I apparently moved more and was more "on voice" than i have been in the past (which i've been needing to work on.) My endings were strong and successful. After getting my notes i felt a lot better. I was starting to freak out a little bit...thinking i did bad. but i guess we're our own toughest critics.

Friday night Caitlin and I wanted to take some stress out by getting an actual decent meal.  We went to Cafe Bernard. I had grilled salmon and grilled veggies...soo good. It was so nice to have a meal outside the cafeteria. We then decided to stay in for the night..nothing was going on really and we wanted a girls' night. We watched Singles. Caitlin had never seen it. it's great. Matt Dillon is hilariously stupid.

Saturday...did laundry. stayed in. it was too cold of a day to go outside. Went to a Joe Billicks' party. This time he added a fogg machine and a projection on the wall-fish swimming around in a huge circle-(whaat?) yeah i donno. it was a little weird. Turned out only 30ish people showed up? i donno. all i know is, I paid $10 to get really wasted with a few of my friends and a buncho sketchballs who i didn't know. I walked home w/walter and matt and stopped by Allende to get some eats. At that point I most definetly had the drunken hiccups. The place was packed so walter asks some guy if we can sit at his booth. haha. this guy is just sitting, stuffing his face w/burrito, hardly looking up..while the rest of us are trying to make friendly conversation with the guy.

Sunday night Caitlin decide to revisit our childhoods by watching Sleeping Beauty. I probably haven't seen that movie in 10years. So long. But, oh, was it magical. We're now on a mission to watch a bunch of disney movies we havne't seen in a long time. Not only is it nice to watch something nostalgic, but i love the old music and cartoon drawings back when we were little. Not all this computer animated stuff nowadays. (not saying i don't enjoy those movies...it's jsut they lose some of the magic i think.)

Anyway, this post has been long enough. I've got a midterm tomorrow in Quantitative Reasonably Stupid Class. This Sat. I'm planning on visiting ol' Addo at Northwestern. I'm excited. I'm ready to switch up the scene and hang out w/a diff.crowd for a change...and of course, i'm ready to see Addo.
