I've been in class for a week now and I still only have one text book. I'm survivng but I really need my Drama books to come!

So when people get back from their first year of college they're way different than they used to be. And I'm sure they're different when they get back to their second year of college after summer break. But I never thought people would change so much over six weeks. Knox is not the same place and it weirds me out a little. Of course it has its perks, but sometimes I want the old Knox back. Of course I have to mention that some awkward situations have managed to resolve themselves.

Ultimate was really fun again today. I'd say it is almost the highlight of my day.

But nothing beats rehearsal for Devised. This show is going to be amazing! I cannot wait. If you are free the weekend of March 3 and 4 you should make plans to come to Galesburg for a night of fabulous sketch comedy! And ignore any future posts I put once things get going and I get frustrated and complain about the show (because I probably will). It will be awesome.

Another seudo movie review. It's a 70's movie called A Boy and His Dog: A Kinky Tale of Survival. And it isn't a porno. The general plot summary is this: World War 4 has happened. Men now roam the world searching for food and women. When they find food they eat it. When they find women they rape them and then kill them. The dogs help find the women. This particular man has a telepathic dog. The movie is absolutely hilarious. It is too ridiculous and yet got great praise from a number of critics and viewers. It is obviously anti-feminist but, as imdb points out also shows a negative view of masculinity. The basic summary doesn't nearly describe how absurd this movie is but everyone I've explained it to more in depth has had the most dumbfounded look on their face when I finish. It sounds made up and ridiculous. Ahhh I love it! I recommend it.

I got a compliment on my performance in the improv show last term. That definately made me feel good.

Does anyone want to move to Chicago with me this summer? The thought just popped into my head and I kinda really want to do it now.

Oh, another random story.
I watched Coffee and Cigarettes last night. The second to the last scene has RZA and GZA from the Wu-Tang Clan. So afterwards I was curious as to what the Clan sounded like. And I found myself liking it. It's not all great but there is some pretty good stuff. I feel awkward listening to them, though. It just seems like the antithesis of what I listen to. Which I suppose is good. While I'm admitting that I might as well mention that I really like Eminem's Loose Yourself.

In more music news, I tried to pre-order The Arrogant Sons of Bitchs' new CD today. Props to the band on selling out in less than 24 hours! But shame on them for not printing enough CDs so Justin and I could get our copies!

I've got to stop now so you don't all hate me for writing a big long(er) entry in which nothing happens.
