anything but work....
Currently sitting in the Bellevue library (Washington, USA), supposed to be working on a University assignment while Janice is at work. Unfortuntely they have a wireless internet service in the library though, so it is more appealing to surf the internet than work on the assignment...
It'll be a week ago tomorrow that I arrived here - can't believe I've nearly been here a week already! We've done a few little bits we needed to get done for the wedding, such as ordering the wedding rings. Later this afternoon we get to go and taste wedding cake to decide what flavour we want our cake to be ("can I just try the chocolate again, I forgot what that tasted like"... :-). After that we hope to go to the Redhook brewary to do the quiz there (and get some food) - anyone want to come and do the quiz with us? Ok, so just about everyone on my friends list lives around 5000 miles from here, but a couple of you live in the Seattle area, so what do you say? I'll buy the beers if you can make it along this evening (serious offer). Just reply to this and I'll check later.
What else have we done? Well we spent the weekend on "the island", which was a lot of fun. Got to play out on the lake - kayaking, rowing, pedal boating, swimming. Ate some food, drank some beer, caught some sun.
Quiz is on at something like 8 or 8.30pm - trivia and beer. We'll perhaps go there for food first I guess.
