-okay... so I said I wouldn't be writing anymore fics for this year but then I watched Juken no Kamisama and I just couldn't resist. >w<
-cheesy. /whacked. OOC? Ryuu is being a kid. lol
-i'm dedicating this to Nikka (nikkaluvryu) cause we both love RyuuNon. just think of this as my christmas gift! :D Merry Christmas!
Ryuu sighed for the nth time.
"How dare that woman! How can she do that to you?!?!" Kanon shriek as she threw a piece of popcorn to his brand new television. The one he'd beg his mom for... and now Kanon was throwing things at it... her slipper... his pillow... and now a popcorn...
He sighed yet again.
"How can she call herself a mother! All she cares about is grades!!! Poor Ryuu and Shintaro!!!" Kanon said.
"Kanyon, it's just a drama." Ryuu said.
"I know! But I hate seeing you like that!" Kanon said.
Ryuu smiled wearily. "Why did you suddenly wanted to watch Juken no Kamisama, anyway?"
"'Cause I haven't watched it before." She said, eyes not leaving the television.
Ryuu stared at the girl beside him.
She didn't notice.
He just kept staring until finally, Kanon looked at him.
"What is it?" she asked.
And then she saw something flashed in Ryuu's eyes. Ryuu then looked at the floor.
"Nothing."
She knew that something. What flashed in Ryuu's eyes was hurt.
Now it was Kanon's turn to sigh. Ryuu was moping and she didn't know why.
"Ryuu?" She asked holding him in his shoulders and making him look at her. "What is it? Did I do something wrong?"
Ryuu kept silent.
"Ryuu..." Kanon said poking Ryuu on his cheeks and giggling a little.
"It's nothing!" Ryuu said.
Kanon stopped her poking and stared at Ryuu.
What was his problem?
"Morimoto Ryutaro." Kanon said, now serious. Ryuu knew this, she never calls him by his full name unless he was in trouble.
"Sorry..." he said. "Don't mind me."
He looked away from Kanon once more.
Kanon sighed and made him look at her again. "Ryuu, what's wrong? Did I say something?"
Ryuu didn't speak.
"What did I say?" Kanon said, thinking.
"Did I annoy you because of my complaints? Sorry, you know how I am. I always get carried away by what I watch..."
"No..." Ryuu said softly. "You don't annoy me. I told you it's nothing. Just forget about it."
Kanon pouted. She thought hard again and then it clicked.
"You're mad cause I only watched your drama now?"
Ryuu looked away.
"Ryuu! I didn't have time, you know that." Kanon said, now giggling again.
Ryuu didn't look at her but he said softly. "You've watched Scrap Teacher, Sensei wa Erai,1 Pound no Fukuin, Yukan Club, even Nin x Nin. And you only didn't watch Nanako to Nanao because of the kiss. But my only drama..."
Kanon looked at Ryuu still looking away. He wa red in the face.
And then Kanon laughed.
"So that's why?? Ryuu! You know I had a crush on Chinen before!" Kanon said, laughing.
Ryuu didn't answer nor look at her but Kanon could see a pout forming on his mouth.
"Ryuu..." Kanon said trying to make Ryuu look at her again.
"I had a crush on Chinen before! I don't like him anymore!"
Ryuu was already facing her but he still wasn't looking at her.
"You even have his autograph..." he said softly.
"That's an accident! How will I know whose autograph will come flying to me during concerts? And you know I alse have Inoo-kun's and Arioka-kun's! That doesn't mean anything." Kanon said.
"But you really never wanted mine." Ryuu insisted.
"I don't want your autograph" Kanon shrugged. "I already have you."
Ryuu was still pouting.
"Ryuu, what do you want from me?" Kanon said now getting a bit annoyed.
"You had a crush on Chii and now you don't like him anymore. You started having a crush on me..." he trailed off. But Kanon knew what he wanted to say.
'So soon you won't like me anymore either?'
"Ryuu! Honestly, you're the one I confessed to! Not Chinen. And I'm here on December 26th celebrating Christmas--because you know the 26th is the Christmas for celebrities, and I'm celebrating it with you instead of my family. Doesn't that say anything to you?"
Ryuu finally looked at her.
"I love you, you immature, insecure baka!"
And slowly, a smile formed through Ryuu's face.
Kanon whacked him playfully. "You're really a baka."
Ryuu grinned sheepishly. And then he gave her a real smile. "I love you, too."
"I know." Kanon said, a little red in the face. Kanon was used to this words but it never stops making her kyuun.
"Besides, what about her??" Kanon said turning to the television and pointing Osonoe Eri. "She keeps on touching you!"
"It's cause director-san said so. I don't even talk to her behind the camera. Promise." Ryuu said. Now Ryuu seemed too happy.
Kanon glared jokingly at him.
"Liar." she said. Ryuu laughed and Kanon followed suit.
When they calmed down they sat by the television again and repeat episode 6. They didn't noticed they had been talking for so long.
Ryuu smiled, contentedly placing an arm around Kanon's shoulder.
"After this, let's watch Fuyu no Kaidan. I haven't watched that yet." Ryuu said.
"You haven't watched my only movie?!?!"
