- just a quick drabble for Suzu's birthday.
- didn't really think about this. don't really have any place in mind for the setting... library perhaps?
Suzuka sat on one of the vacant seats, looking very relaxed. She sighed and leaned back, closing her eyes for a moment. Stretching, she smiled and opened the book she was holding in her hand. Gingerly, she flipped through the pages.
Finding the right page, she leaned back once more and started reading.
She had a small smile on her face. She looked intrigued. Her eyes were slowly moving, reading.
She smiled, her eyes crinkling. She looked excited.
A while later she let out a soft chuckle. She flipped another page, grinning. She was already in her own little world.
She smiled once more, but it faded soon. Her eyebrows furrowed and she moved the book closer to her face. She looked confused.
Then her eyebrows rose. But her eyes continued to move without falter. She wasn't smiling anymore; her face impassive.
And then she let out a little gasp and then blushed furiously, eyes wide, looking incredulously at the book.
Yuto couldn't help but chuckle.
"What is it?" He asked, finally speaking.
Suzuka's eyes moved to him sharply and if possible, she turned a shade darker.
"Yuto, I didn't notice you there." She said surprised and sounding quite alarmed.
"I've been here before you came." Yuto said, smiling at her.
"Why didn't you say anything?" Suzuka said, smiling as well. Though she still looked a bit flustered.
Yuto shrugged. "I like watching you. Especially when you're reading a book. It's interesting."
Suzuka tried not to smile. "Well, glad I can be a form of entertainment." She said sarcastically, subtly trying to veer away from his question.
Yuto just grinned at her, not feeling guilty. "So, what is it? What happened to the story? You looked like you've read something unbelievable." He said.
He was surprise when Suzuka, once more, blushed and then looked away.
Yuto was intrigued. "What?" He asked once more, laughing a little.
"It's nothing." Suzuka said. softly and then she closed the book.
"New book?" Yuto asked.
"Borrowed it from a friend." Suzuka said, still not looking at him.
"What is it?" Yuto said, standing up and approaching Suzuka.
Suzuka sighed. "I was just surprised with what I read." She finally said. "They said this book outsell Harry Potter and I was curious. Never thought it'd be this kind of book." She said in a very soft voice.
"What kind of book?"
"Never you mind."
Yuto tried to snatch the book but Suzuka was too fast for him. "Yuto!" She scolded, frowning at him.
"What's wrong with it? Why are you so upset?" Yuto said, suppressing a laughter bubbling inside of him. Suzuka was just too worked up it was cute.
"Just forget it. I'm just... I don't really want to read a book like this, but I've already started and I'm really curious of what would happen..." She sighed. "Never mind. Let's forget about this." She said, standing up.
When she did, Yuto snatched the book, successfully, this time.
"Yuto!" Suzuka cried, now blushing furiously. She tried to snatch the book back but Yuto held it up, opened it somewhere in the middle and started reading.
And he was sure the same expressions he saw in Suzuka reflected on his face.
He abruptly closed the book, his face hot.
"I told you to forget about it!" Suzuka said, not looking at him.
"What is this?" He said, confounded and embarrassed.
"Fifty Shades of Grey..." Suzuka answers, also feeling very much embarrassed.
"And it outsells Harry Potter?" Yuto asked, incredulously.
"Yes. I never thought it would be..." Suzuka trailed off.
"Porn." Yuto said.
Suzuka just blushed.
She blinked and then looked at Yuto. "Do you watch porn?" She asked, eyes wide.
"No!" Yuto said quickly, too quick.
Suzuka narrowed her eyes at him.
"No! I promise you, I don't!" Yuto said defensively. And he started blabbing. "Well, I have watched anime er... hentai... with friends... before. But it was just out of curiosity and it was from way back. And I've never thought about it much. Those things they do... it's not really... I mean what they do, it's pure lust... And if I'd... you know, do it, I want it to be special. I'd never think of doing those things to anyone least of all to someone I love. I don't want it like that with you-"
He stops abruptly and blushed beet red. Suzuka stared at him, shocked.
Yuto hastily handed her the book and ran out of the room, never looking back at Suzuka.
Yuto had never felt so embarrassed in his life, he cursed the freaking book's author.

-lol. no plot at all. i just bullied yuto. anyway, i am not fond of fifty shades of grey i've read it for the same reason as suzuka's. i finished it cause i need to. i won't be able to move on if i didn't know the ending. i skipped parts i didn't want to read, if you know what i mean. forgive me, but i feel insulted that that outsell harry potter. harry potter is about magic, adventure, friendship, love, hope, family and everything good. and fifty... sex, body, vanity, wealth... i don't get why people say it's a good read... /shot (my opinion, don't sue.) when i read it, i am reminded of twilight.. .and i read somewhere that it was actually originally a bella/edward fanfiction... so yeah, it is twilight in disguise. i can't believe they're making a movie.
-yuto's part... well, back when i was in high school, i have many guy friends and one time they confessed to me that they had actually watched hentai (i can't remember how we got in that topic). most of them then had girlfriends and what yuto said is basically what they told me. they are all for marriage first. i'm sort of their confidante. :)
sorry for the fail. i have lots of other plots but it requires time to write and i just don't have that right now. maybe during sembreak i'll be able to work on them. :)
