Title: OhgoJima's No. 1 Shipper
Author: macy
Pairing: OhgoJima
Genre: Angst, Fluff, Romance
Rating: G
AN:
-inspired by the suzu's grad blog post, the break-up rumor, a parokya song, and
nightbaron079's old facebook status about a certain nakajima and ohgo. xDD
- rushed, unbetaed, random (i've been making lots of randomfics lately because i kept getting stuck in my other fic. /shot)
Nervously, Suzuka made her way inside her new school's auditorium. It was where they would hold the opening ceremony.
She felt very relieved when she found a familiar face. It was an old classmate from middle school, Mai. They talked for a while but they had to separate since they weren't in the same class, not in the same course, even. But somewhat, Suzuka felt a bit more comfortable.
Looking around, Suzuka felt little because, of course, most of the students were older than her and compared to high school, they looked more mature, more serious. But they also seem friendly so it was fine.
-
Suzuka was smiling as she walked home. The school had a good environment. And she felt excited now, about starting university.
Grinning, she took out her phone and started typing about what had happened. After finishing that, she automatically put in Yuto's number and almost clicked the send button. She realized what she was doing and stopped, feeling very conflicted just then.
She can't send that to him, can she? She still wasn't use to not mailing Yuto but now that they weren't together anymore…. She was still his friend, right? Is what she would be mailing something a friend would do? Would it be strange?
Frowning in confusion, Suzuka saved her message in her drafts for the meantime and glumly made her way to the train station.
When she arrived at her home, she took her phone again and looked at her message. She sighed and then put in his number. She can't send that mail to Yuto but it wouldn't mean anything if she send it t o him instead.
-
"Did you know Suzu-nee opened a twitter account?" Raiya suddenly said from his bed.
Yuto frowned at him from his PC table. He was trying to make a song. The songs for the album was already set and in the works, but he still wanted to make one.
"Yes." He told Raiya. He knew why Raiya asked. He was still angry at him for breaking up with Suzuka. Raiya had been very opened about his adoration for Suzuka. He always tells Yuto he wanted the Suzuka to be his sister.
"She mentioned watching Risou no Musuko." Raiya continued to say.
"Well, she did." Yuto said, turning his back on his brother. "Three of her classmates were part of the cast."
Raiya glared at the back of his brother. He was really frustrated with his brother just then. He was being stupid breaking up with his neechan just like that. And he really thinks his reason isn't justified.
His brother claimed that his and his neechan's relationship just wouldn't work outside Horikoshi. His brother said that maybe if both of them pass Keio then it'll be just like before, but since he didn't pass they didn't have any choice but break up. It was just ridiculous to Raiya. And he hated it that his neechan seemed so miserable at his idiot of a brother's decision. He had read his neechan's graduation post and everything she was feeling about the whole matter was there, plain and clear.
"She also mentioned that the closest to her in the industry is Miki-nii." Raiya said.
Yuto didn't look back and just shrugged.
Raiya suddenly wanted to throw his pillow at his brother's head.
-
Suzuka completely understand where Yuto was coming from but she didn't agree. Though that was the case, she knew it wouldn't work if Yuto was even doubtful about their relationship. She felt betrayed somehow, not really by Yuto but by their whole situation. Still, she stand by what she said in her blog post, that she doesn't regret falling in love. But she felt as if everything somehow changed, it was scary.
So she was really happy that her little brother replied. Knowing Raiya, she was sure he already understands the situation and she didn't need to pretend to ask him not to tell his brother they were texting or to pretend to act as if she didn't care about Yuto.
She was relieved her break up with his brother didn't seem to make the little guy awkward around her. And she was also a bit amused that how the little guy reply was so similar to his brother. She could easily mistake his texts to that of Yuto's.
She smiled as her phone vibrated once more.
-
Yuto watched his brother. He was relieved Raiya stopped telling him things implying how he felt about his breakup with Suzuka, but he was also wondering why he did. It had been almost two months now, so he wants to think he doesn't resent him for what happened anymore. But still, Raiya was distant to him. All he does all day (at least during the day he was home; they had their rehearsals and performances almost every day) is minding his phone.
Suddenly, he realized how much he missed his brother. Looking at how his brother was smiling, he thought it'd be fine to be an annoying brother just now.
Turning his back from his table, "You sure have a wide smile in your face. Is that Riko-chan?" He teased.
Raiya frowned at him and Yuto expected him to start denying it. But he didn't. Instead he said, "Have you read neechan's recent tweet?"
Yuto sighed in defeat. So he was wrong. Raiya still hasn't forgiven him, “Of course not. We're not allowed to have accounts in social networks, you know that." He said tiredly.
Raiya just shrugged. "Her tweets are interesting. She just greeted Kamiki-nii a happy birthday." He said.
Suddenly, Yuto just want to get out of the room. But he responded still, "Well, she did say he's her best friend."
"Yeah," Raiya said, sounding chipper. "Not to mention, he's the one who found her crying because of you break up with her."
Yuto glared at him. But Raiya only stared at him coldly, unfaltering.
"Raiya, will you just stop about that? It's over." Yuto said angrily.
Raiya, too, looked angry. "You're such a coward." He said coldly.
"What the hell, Raiya?!" Yuto shouted. That had really stung.
"You still love neechan. And I know she still loves you." Raiya said, looking away.
"Sometimes that's not enough. It's not like we can go back to how we used to! Before, it worked because we have a sanctuary, we have Horikoshi. We don't have that anymore! I'm an idol, she's an actress. It's more complicated than you think!" He cried.
"Exactly!" Raiya said, his voice also rising. "She doesn't need you to tell her it wohe knows as well as you of your responsibilities. Neechan doesn't really ask for much. She doesn't demand you to see each other every day, or even call each other every day! She just wants to have someone to turn to when she's tired. You know, just like before. She would just send you a mail about her day and she wouldn't even ask for a reply because she's happy enough certain that you at least read her mail even if you can't reply!"
There was a pause. Yuto was looking at Raiya as if it was the first time he saw him.
And then he looked away. "She can turn to someone other than me." He whispered.
"And wouldn't you love that?" Raiya said sarcastically. "Seriously, niichan, you've been a mess since you broke up with her. You haven't completed any songs since then and you've been distancing yourself from others!" He shouted, though there was a note of sadness in his voice.
"Well, what do you want me to do?" Yuto said in defeat.
"What do you want to do?" Raiya asked back.
"I don't know. That's why I'm asking you." Yuto said, annoyed.
Raiya frowned at him. "I want my neechan back. And my niichan."
Yuto looked at Raiya, taken aback. He suddenly felt guilty.
He sighed again, feeling helpless. "How can I ask her that…?" He said very softly.
"How about if you made her a song?" Raiya suddenly suggested.
"Eh?"
Suddenly the door to their room opened and their mom peek in. The two boys looked at her.
"Raiya, you have to wake up early tomorrow, go to sleep now." She said.
"Hai." Raiya said, not looking at his brother and proceeding to their bathroom.
"Yuto, I hope you can sleep soon as well. I'm sure you're tired." Yumiko said, turning to Yuto.
Yuto nodded glumly. "I'll just clear my table…"
"Alright. Good night, you two." Yumiko said and stepped back, closing their door.
After a while, Raiya came out the bathroom in his pajamas and went straight to bed, not saying anything to his brother.
Yuto stared at the paper in front of him, thinking.

Suzuka woke up when her phone rang. Groggily, she picked it up. She stared for a while before she could make sense of everything. And then she gaped, realizing who the message was from.
Hastily, she opened the mail and felt a bit confused seeing a file attached to it. She clicked on that as well and it directed her to her music player. It was an mp3.
She clicked on play, feeling very nervous.

(AN: listen to it first, the lyrics are part of the fic. XD)
She felt like crying, hearing Yuto sing. And he was singing to her.
Below the file were the words, "Will you have me again?"
Feeling very much awake now, she started dialing his number.
-
Raiya woke up very early. So he was really surprised to see that his brother wasn't in his bed anymore. Recently he'd always been very tired because of their Asian tour and during his days off, he would stay very late. Not today though.
Raiya stood up and looked around. Hearing his laughter, Raiya realized his brother was out in their veranda. He was talking happily to someone on his phone.
Raiya had quickly picked his own phone from his table then. He checked his phone and smiled widely when there were no messages from her neechan.
