Horikoshi High School is different from other schools. The class, 3D, specifically, is different from other classes. This special class is composed of the potential future, if not future of Japan's entertainment industry. And the current batch, specifically, are filled with aspiring figures in the industry.
Nomura Shuhei. The latest transferee in Horikoshi.
An aspiring actor in his right, one should think that his transfer to the school will be swift and smooth. For one, he is among acquaintances. For another, he, like the other in this class are all from the same world; the world of show business.
So really, why did one day I found myself close to drowning because a chibi-ish guy named Chinen Yuri pushed me in the pool?
Well, it was my own fault. I accidentally broke rule number 1.
Rule #1 Do not tick of Chinen Yuri:
(1) Do not provoke him.
(2) Do not be better than him.
(3) Do not try -or even acciddentally- impress Kawashima Umika.
LOL. SOOOO TRUE~!! XD
Not that it is easy to impress Umika. I mean, that's Rule #9.
Everyone knows that. All the boys, not just in our section, heck not even just in our batch, the whole male population of Horikoshi 3D (senseis included) knows rule number 9.
Rule #9: Do not underestimate Tokitou Haruka and Kawashima Umika in athletic meets or even in PE, if you do not want to hurt your pride. They might be girls, but they are very strong.
Oh, I remember this. LOL, the look on your face when Haruka hit that softball! I think Rima got it, ne??? XD.
And I'm telling you, many can give you details about this rule based from their own experiences.
Anyway, I'm getting off topic. Going back to my story...
As I said, it was accidental. It was our PE and we had swimming for today. I've always liked swimming, and I guess I just got carried away. I didn't noticed I was going faster than everyone else and when I realized it, it was too late. He was already glaring daggers at me, not really because I was better than him. Everyone knows he isn't fond of swimming whether it'd be in the pool or in the sea (though I know if given a choice, he'd definitely choose the pool). I'm sure he got annoyed -not angry, you do not want him angry- because Umika-chan had praised me. I didn't even think about the praise much, we were friends since our drama together.
Really, life in Horikoshi isn't very easy as others might think. Sure, we don't have a limit to absences and we can bend much of the school rules, but still, there are The Rules.
When in Rome, do as Romans do. You watched Ouran too? XDD
When in Horikoshi, and with Horikoshi 3D, follow The Rules.
And what made it harder? This rules aren't exactly in the orientation. They are rules that you have to know on your own.
The first day of school, I've found out, in practice, about Rule #11.
Rule #11: Do not depend on Kamiki Ryunosuke.
lol. this should be rule #1. hahaha
Yes people, contrary to popular belief, Kamiki Ryunosuke is not very reliable. With me being in Amuse with him, you'd think I'd know this, but no. It's not very obvious, specially if he's with Shougo. Thing is, he leave everything to his best friend and he just tags along.
Unfortunately for me, when I transfered to Horikoshi, I only had him. Of course being a new student, I will be depending on him, the old student, who should know things at his school after staying there for three years. But no. By the end of the day, I found myself lost in Horikoshi grounds. How did I get lost in such an open space? I don't know, ask Miki. O_o
The same day, I found out about Rule #13.
I didn't mean it. Of course I didn't. Why would I do it on purpose? Who even wants to be on the wrong side of those three? At least I didn't purposely want to. hmmm, is it those three??
But then on that day, my mother forgot to make my packed lunch. I was forced to buy my food in the cafeteria. It's not like I didn't want to, but I wasn't used to that.
Once the bell rang for our break, most of my new classmates, including Kamiki and Kobayashi, ran outside the room to go to the cafeteria because apparently, that day was the day where they sell the special limited sandwich they only sell once a week.
I saw Kawashima, Ohgo, Shida, Nakajima, Yamada and Chinen still on their seats as if waiting for something. Probably they brought their own food, I thought.
I took my time on my way to the cafeteria. When I got there, I saw the last special limited edition sandwich on the stand. Curious on what’s special about it, I immediately took a tray and went near to the sandwich. The moment I reached and placed it on my tray, the people in the cafeteria froze. They all looked at me on funny. I didn't know why. Nobody said anything, or to be specific, no one seems to able to. No, it’s not because they have food on their mouth, but obviously for a different reason.
I then continued on walking and thought of what to get next because I was sure I won't get a full stomach with just the sandwich. I then saw the last four gyouza on display and placed it on my tray. Now, the people on the cafeteria choked on their food. It was really weird.
They all choked at the same time.
“Be careful everyone!” I shouted, trying to be friendly and then I continued walked deciding on what else to have. BAKA. xDD
I got salad and a couple of small breads. Deciding it’s enough, I asked the lady in the cafeteria for milk. Fortunately (or unfortunately), there’s still one available. Strawberry Milk.
I didn't know why but the blood on my classmates’ and schoolmates’ faces seemed to drain. What is wrong with everyone? I thought. They don’t move. No one even said anything as if something bad will happen. It was so quiet in the cafeteria. The lady seemed even reluctant on giving me the milk but she gave it, nonetheless.
Happy with my food, I went to find a table and eat.
"Ah, that's why this sandwich is special and limited because it has tuna in it!" I said, then.
While eating, I felt as if someone was boring a hole on his head. I just ignored it, thinking it's just my imagination and continued eating.
When I finished eating and drank the last drop of my strawberry milk I threw my waste on the trash bin.
I saw Kamiki and Kobayashi then, talking to each other looking panicked. I walked towards them and asked what happened. The two looked behind my back, wrote something on a piece of paper, gave it to me and ran.
I was really weirded out by then. But then, I felt someone approach me so I looked at my back and smiled when I saw Shida, Chinen and Yamada glaring at me.
I didn't know what I did. Ohgo then pointed the paper on my hand.
It says,
"Nobody dares to eat the last piece of sandwich, that's for Mirai. Nobody dares to eat the last order of gyouza, that's for Chinen. And nobody dares to drink the last strawberry milk, that's for Yamada. It's the unwritten rule."
And that was the last thing I saw before everything went black.
Rule #13: Shida Mirai had dibs on tuna, Yamada Ryosuke on strawberry and Chinen Yuri on gyouza. This is forever the case. when was this???? I can't remember this!!! drat, i might have work then. i wanna see that scene!! Dx
In effect, this rule had led me to the discovery of another rule. You see, after this incident, I have becoming trauma-- a bit paranoid and to avoid any hatreds, I've made my mom promise me to make me bento everyday until graduation. lol, you were traumatized. seriously?! XD
This, understandably, cannot always follow through as my mom have her work, too, sooo this led to the next incident.
I woke up just an hour before classes start as usual. I was having a fine and relaxed morning, I even checked my blog and surf for a while.
But then I found that note on stuck on our refrigerator.:
'Shuhei, I couldn't make you a bento today, I am running late. Just buy lunch at school, okay? Love you. -Mom' LOL. why am i imagining yuto's role in risuo no musuko?! XD
I read the note a few time before seriously panicking. And using the last minutes of my time, I try to make my own bento. I barely made it but I have my food and I didn't have to buy lunch at the cafeteria,
I was almost late. I rushed changing into my uniform and ran my way to the school. Thank goodness, I wasn't late.
I looked ridiculous, though. And when I entered the classroom, the girls all try not to laugh.
Shida then, had approach me. I remembered she is our Chairman of Public Morals, and is in charged of checking if her classmate's uniform is in order.
"Sorry." I told her when she was near enough. ohhh, i think i already know what's rule #2.... :))
"What happened to you?" She asked, giggling a bit. Shida isn't a mean or a harsh class officer. On the contrary, she's very nice and she really helps out her classmates. She's a real and honest person, there's no gap between what she shows during interviews and how she is at work or at school. She got along with everyone during our Hammer Session, too.
She had then tried to help me arrange myself. Lending me her comb and arranging my necktie.
Yamada then had entered the room, looking like usual. Neat,but not wearing a necktie and his hair a bit ruffled at parts. I had seen him look at me and Shida.
"Good morning." He told the class as he, Chinen and Nakajima walked inside the room. There were a few replies of good morning.
I had the impression though, that he was waiting for Shida's greeting. Because he looked at us, once more. But Shida was still trying to arrange me.
"Uh..." I try to say.
"Stay still." Shida said. it's coming. hahaha.
"Mirai-chan~" Yamada had called affectionately. "Can you do my necktie again? I still can't do it."
"Ah, go to Suzuka, okay? I'm not through with Shuhei-kun." She said, not looking at Yamada even once.
And I could feel the stares of all of our classmates.
And I knew this time that I was in trouble.And the glare, of course the glare shouldn't be forgotten.
For the whole day, I never left the classroom, choosing to be where Shida could easily see me cause I think that is the one thing that is protecting me. Well, you wouldn't want your girlfriend to witness it if you'll be murdering someone. good thinking. =))
Rule #2: Go to school with your proper uniform. Bed-hair is not allowed!
Annotation: Only Yamada Ryosuke have the privelege to be scrutinized by the Chairman Public Morals, Shida Mirai.
Rule #4 and Rule #6 I learned after our field trip. This rules doesn't have such heavy consequences as the previous rules, but all the same. Your life would be more peaceful to just follow them.
For starters, I need to tell you that Horikoshi 3D has a community online. It's like a sort of "private" blog where we are the only ones who can read each other's entries. It's different from our idol blogs. In this community therefore, we can be as honest as we can. We can post personal pictures and not be worried some president of an agency might have a coronary seeing his precious boys--er talents being too friendly with everyone. lol. johnny-jiji.
There are galleries of pictures there. When I first saw it, I couldn't help but smile since it's like a documentation of our high school life. I felt a bit happy that memories of us are stored there and even after we graduate, if we want to, we can just go online and relive this memories through the pictures.
But this too, have its darker side. dramatic-much? XD
Right after our field trip, I went online to look at our pictures. Almost everyone have their own cameras and during the whole trip it was like you're in a prescon with cameras flashing everywhere.
And so I went online... And as I expected, there were so many pictures already uploaded. There were pictures of mostly the girls from Maeda, pictures of sceneries from Ohgo, pictures of food from Shida, pictures of Shida from Yamada... stuffs like that.
And then I saw the combined album of Nakajima and Nishizakil. Nakajima have lots of albums, one for insects, one for Ohgo's pictures, one for Hey! Say! JUMP and that one where both he and Nishizaki upload pictures. That's my favorite album! :DD
And what pictures they are. Pictures of Miki sleeping with his mouth open, pictures of Yamada staring dorkily at Shida, pictures of Ogawa slipping, pictures of me sleeping in our hotel room, pictures of me when I just woke up, pictures of me after eating that horrible 'concotion' the boys have made with telling me it was a mash potato.

Rule #4: Always be alert. Do not show any weakness
Annotation: There are two very skilled paparazzi among 3D namely Nakajima Yuto and Nishizaki Rima. You do not want a picture taken at your ugliest moments.
And what's worst, there comes Rule #6. And Hana and Mizusawa have become fond of one of my pictures. They had told me I was so cute and started gushing about me in an eerily mother-pride like tone. LOL, they just love you like that. xD
And they had my pictures printed and stored in their wallets. Thankfully, Shida had explained it to me when I told her (cause there's Rule #11, my second choice is Shida, since I've known her from our drama together).
"They have mother-con." She had said.
"Eh?" Was my reply, thinking about Yamada's role.
"No, not like Suzuki Daichi. That's actually a wrong term. The right term for that role is Oedipus Complex. Mother complex is a complex for mothers not for sons. It's simply a 'mothering-tendencies' where mom wants to pamper their children and stuff." She explained. i didn't know that. mirai-chan's so smart~
I looked at her in confusion. "Hana and Mizusawa are not my mothers."
She laughed. "Yes, but they tend to want to pamper other people. You should see them with 1D. Just let them be, they just love you like that." She said. It was one rule that someone actually said. ohh, mirai-chan and i said the exact same thing!! XD
Rule #6: Always obey your parent's orders.
Annotation: Hana Cindy Rachel and Mizusawa Nako has mothering-tendencies. It's natural. It's the way of life. Do not resist.
Aside from our community online, Horikoshi 3D also have our text clan or mobile group. It's kinda the same thing, actually. The latter is only on phone. Whenever there is an announcement regarding the class, the class officers would use this. They'll send a message to the whole group.
But it's not exclusively for that use only. Anyone can send stuffs they want to send. Maeda sends quotes everyday with a greeting of 'good morning.' Kawashima usually send pictures of her dog, Vanilla with updates on her. It's sort of like a blog for Vanilla (the girls love that). At times, if one have a show coming, they would invite the class to watch through this. Everyone really, sends something to the group oftentimes. It's another thing that shows just how close the class is.
I am very happy when they told me about this and encouraged me to send something, to.
The first few times, I just sent quotes just as Maeda do.
One time, I was listening to this English song on my way to work. I love this song, it was my mom and dad's favorite song. I knew the meaning of the lyrics by heart.
I thought I'd want to share that with 3D, so I started translating the song in Japanese and typed it on my phone. When I was done, I sent it to everyone.
That was one big mistake. TOO TRUE.
It turned out, Kobayashi and Irie had just broke up the day before and the song... It's called 'The Old Song' and it has lyrics like 'Maybe the old song will bring back the old times' and 'Maybe we'll start to cry and wonder why we ever walk away.' TROLL. LOLS
Right after I sent the lyrics, I was bombarded with messages.
Break up quotes from both Kobayashi and Irie. Stuffs like 'sometimes love isn't enough,' ' break up is like a broken mirror. It is better to leave it broken than hurt yourself to fix it.'
I think my phone vibrated for about half an hour. It was actually quite amazing.
And then it stopped and I sighed in relief. But seconds later it started vibrating once more. This time with personal messages from all my other classmates.
'Why did you send that?! They just broke up!' -from Maeyama
'Seriously, dude. Don't get involve in this.' -from Ogawa
'What happened to Jingi and Saaya??' -from Nishiuchi
'They broke up again?' -from Shougo
'You shouldn't have sent that. What was that, anyway?' -from Ohgo
'Never do that again, I thought my phone would give out from vibrating!' -from Nakajima
'I thought there was another earthquake with all the vibrations!' -from Kamiki
'You just started a war.' -you didin't include my mail!
And so it turned out, everyone was bombarded with the same quotes.
I replied with a sorry and an explanation to everyone. Seriously, it was a lot of work.
And you know what happened next week? Kobayashi and Irie got back together... for the ninth time, according to Shida.
Rule #12: 'Breaking up' is just a phase between Kobayashi Jingi and Irie Saaya. Do not try to intervene, well, be careful what you say or you will regret it.
And regret, I did.
The next rule is similar to the last one. Same principle, really: just be careful what you say.
This is regarding Nakajima Yuto.
He's a nice guy. Friendliest of all. But one thing I can say about him is he's a fanboy.
Seriously.
And when he starts, it'll be a loooong time before he stops. So best thing to do is don't give him an opening.
I've broke this rule just after our winter break. We were just chatting around, telling each other how we spend our Christmas... when I said the forbidden word.
"My sister gave me a new camera." wrong word.
I heard everyone groan, even the girls from the neighboring table.
"Really? What camera?"
"Uh, it's just a digital camera..."
I tried very hard to keep up with him. He had so many questions it was overwhelming! I seriously wanted to take the final exam over again than be interview by him again.
The other guys had already started a new topic (leaving us alone) but he still wouldn't stop. It was as if it was just the two of us in the world and all that matters is that I know how to handle a camera or I'll die!!! /shot Okay, exaggerating a bit... But seriously, I do not want to relive that experience again.
Aside from cameras, other forbidden words are as follows:
.Insects
.Percussion Instruments
.Nakajima Raiya (don't even, seriously); and who cannot adore this kid?!?!
.Ohgo Suzuka (when she's not around)
don't forget rock songs and Tackey!
If you think Chinen is such a fanboy, get to know Nakajima a bit more. i think you haven't seen a real ohno/umika episode of chii. i'm telling you, i'd rather yuto fanboy.
Rule #3: Do not mention percussion instruments, horses, insects, cameras and especially Nakajima Raiya when the prefect is around. Do not mention Ohgo Suzuka's name as well, when said girl is not around.
I have told you about Rule #1 or the 'Chinen Rule.' Closely related to this is the 'Royal Rule' or Rule #5. lol, where are you getting all this 'names'?!
I'm not saying this is the most important rule of all. Every rule is actually just as important --well, maybe except for Rule #14 and #15, but we'll get to that later.
Back to the 'Royal Rule;' this rule has earned this name simply because it is about the 'royalties.' No, there are no descendants of traditional royal family in the batch, I'm saying this in a metaphorical way.
The prince and princess of this class, namely Chinen Yuri and Ohgo Suzuka is someone you must respect and obey. Maybe you can already guess why I call them royalties.... Once you step inside the classroom, you would get that impression at once. It's not that they try to be domineering, but everyone as good as revered them. Everyone would do all their wishes, even unconsciously. These two are the most pampered among all.
In Chinen's case, this is obvious. All of the boys, everyone in 3D, heck even the lower years pamper him. He is the only one who sits at every boy's laps. He is the one who was able to make Shida Mirai buy him a not so cheap belt. You just cannot win against his cutenesss. He doesn't even try much. Everyone just naturally gets drawn to him.
In Ohgo's case, it's not much obvious but you will be able to notice it if you're observant. It seems decisions in the class are generally made by her. For example, last December, the class was planning on going skiing. I was excited about this. I love skiing. So, I ask Nakajima when it will be.
His answer was, "We're not sure yet, but I think Suzu wants it to be after Christmas so Mariya can come."
There wasn't really anything odd there but when I ask again, this time to Kawashima, this was her reply:
"Wait, I'll ask Suzuka."
It's the same with other simple things. Like what color looks better on Shida. Irie claimed it was pink, Kamiki said it was white. They were debating on whethere it was pink or white. But when Ohgo had said she thinks it's black, everyone agreed at once. It was like magic. She is powerful. And how she carries herself is somewhat princess-like as well. And there's Nakajima who always follows her around, too. It gives an image of a princess and her protector or something. now that i think about it, this is true. O_O
Well, if you want to get along well with everyone never contradict these two.
Rule #5: Obey your rulers.
Annotation: Ohgo Suzuka and Chinen Yuri are royalties. You do not want to get in their way.
The next Rule I found, I learned the hard way. Rule #7.
It was during our school festival. It was the day of our dance competition. After changing into my costume, I went back to our classroom. I went back alone because for some reason, the other guys didn't want to go back.
When I entered the room, I saw some of the girls chatting with each other. Maeyama, Hayashi, and Maeda specifically. They were arranging each other's hair and doing make up.
I should have known something was odd when all three of them beamed at me a little too happily.
"Shuhei-kun, can you come over here?" Hayashi had called.
Bewildered but unsuspecting, I walked towards them.
And all hell went lose.
Well, okay, they just taught me the rule.
Rule # 7: Try to be invisible when the girls, specifically Maeyama Mika, Hayashi Ayano, and Maeda Nozomi, are talking about fashion.
Annotation: Make up can be a very deadly weapon. LOOOOOOOOLLL!!!!!
They didn't made me look horrid, no. I wish they did, though. Because instead they made me--- using Maeda's word, 'pretty as a doll.' I didn't dare look at the mirror to confirm this.
And that wasn't all. Just then, Hana and Mizusawa came and both of them all but squealed at how 'cute' I am. They were all gushing at me as if I was a 5 years old girl. It was so hard to follow Rule #6 just then. but you were adorable!! x33
And if it wasn't enough, Rule #4 also came into play. Hayashi had called Nishizaki, and she had arrived with her reliable camera. Nishizaki had taken so many pictures of me; made me pose in a way I swore I wouldn't open her album again and even took shots of me with all of them saying I am now one of them. I was wishing the ground would open up and swallow me whole. I was just lucky the boys weren't there to witness this. lol, but they saw the pics. xD
Rule #10, the most useful rule of all, came to me a little bit late. But all the same, it made my life easier.
Rule #10: Be friends with Ogawa Hayato, he will keep you sane, and there's no risk.
This rule is gold. Seriously. Ogawa knows everyone very well. He's a master at interacting with the others. He say all the right words, heck he can stop Nakajima even after he started (read Rule #3). He can even be exempted from the Chinen Rule. The prince is rather fond of him.
His advice is the best; completely reliable unlike some other guy I know. Plus, there is no risk of a someone threatening you with glares (in the case of our Chairman Public Morals; read Rule #2).
Most importantly, Ogawa had told about the most important rules of Horikoshi. The Golden Rules.
Rule #14: Once a 3D, you will forever be a 3D.
You can never escape 3D. Nor would you want to.
It's like your second family. Even if someone fights, or if there are misunderstandings or rivalry, this rule wouldn't change. Heck even if you broke all the other rules, this one still stands.
Nishiuchi and Sakamoto... even though officially, they are not Horikoshi students anymore, they are still part of our online community and our mobile clan. They can be liken to a family member who is away for a while. No matter where they are, they are still part of the family.
They were there during our farewell party, and they will be there tomorrow at our graduation.
Me, I've always felt I belonged even if I am 'late.' I've been part of the family since day 1.
And I wish I somehow spent a little more time with everyone. Earlier during our last practice, I laughed. Now, I am not very sure if I can do that tomorrow again. When it's already the real thing.
I know we could still see each other if we want to, but it won't be the same no matter what others say.
Well, I'm being dramatic now so I'll just tell you the last rule, the other half of the Golden Rules.
Rule #15: 3D is the best people you can ever meet in Horikoshi. In Japan, really, but I might be biased.

Okay, so I finally got my journal back. Seriously, I was trying to express myself and she have to arrive. Anyway, just ignore the stupid scribbles. It's not important.
I completely forgot what I wanted to say about Rule #15, so just take that as it is. Sorry, she completely ruined the mood. She just... ugh, let's just say my personal journal isn't very personal anymore.
And before I forget it again, there is also this one other rule:
Rule #8: Hide your personal journal from Tanaka Asami (especially if she's holding a pentel pen) or you will regret it for the rest of your life.

Horikoshi High School is different from other schools. The class, 3D, specifically, is different from other classes. This special class is composed of the potential future, if not future of Japan's entertainment industry. And the current batch, specifically, are filled with aspiring figures in the industry.
Nomura Shuhei. The latest transferee in Horikoshi.
An aspiring actor in his right, one should think that his transfer to the school will be swift and smooth. For one, he is among acquaintances. For another, he, like the other in this class are all from the same world; the world of show business.
So really, why did one day I found myself close to drowning because a chibi-ish guy named Chinen Yuri pushed me in the pool?
Well, it was my own fault. I accidentally broke rule number 1.
Rule #1 Do not tick of Chinen Yuri:
(1) Do not provoke him.
(2) Do not be better than him.
(3) Do not try -or even acciddentally- impress Kawashima Umika.
LOL. SOOOO TRUE~!! XD
Not that it is easy to impress Umika. I mean, that's Rule #9.
Everyone knows that. All the boys, not just in our section, heck not even just in our batch, the whole male population of Horikoshi 3D (senseis included) knows rule number 9.
Rule #9: Do not underestimate Tokitou Haruka and Kawashima Umika in athletic meets or even in PE, if you do not want to hurt your pride. They might be girls, but they are very strong.
Oh, I remember this. LOL, the look on your face when Haruka hit that softball! I think Rima got it, ne??? XD.
And I'm telling you, many can give you details about this rule based from their own experiences.
Anyway, I'm getting off topic. Going back to my story...
As I said, it was accidental. It was our PE and we had swimming for today. I've always liked swimming, and I guess I just got carried away. I didn't noticed I was going faster than everyone else and when I realized it, it was too late. He was already glaring daggers at me, not really because I was better than him. Everyone knows he isn't fond of swimming whether it'd be in the pool or in the sea (though I know if given a choice, he'd definitely choose the pool). I'm sure he got annoyed -not angry, you do not want him angry- because Umika-chan had praised me. I didn't even think about the praise much, we were friends since our drama together.
Really, life in Horikoshi isn't very easy as others might think. Sure, we don't have a limit to absences and we can bend much of the school rules, but still, there are The Rules.
When in Rome, do as Romans do. You watched Ouran too? XDD
When in Horikoshi, and with Horikoshi 3D, follow The Rules.
And what made it harder? This rules aren't exactly in the orientation. They are rules that you have to know on your own.
The first day of school, I've found out, in practice, about Rule #11.
Rule #11: Do not depend on Kamiki Ryunosuke.
lol. this should be rule #1. hahaha
Yes people, contrary to popular belief, Kamiki Ryunosuke is not very reliable. With me being in Amuse with him, you'd think I'd know this, but no. It's not very obvious, specially if he's with Shougo. Thing is, he leave everything to his best friend and he just tags along.
Unfortunately for me, when I transfered to Horikoshi, I only had him. Of course being a new student, I will be depending on him, the old student, who should know things at his school after staying there for three years. But no. By the end of the day, I found myself lost in Horikoshi grounds. How did I get lost in such an open space? I don't know, ask Miki. O_o
The same day, I found out about Rule #13.
I didn't mean it. Of course I didn't. Why would I do it on purpose? Who even wants to be on the wrong side of those three? At least I didn't purposely want to. hmmm, is it those three??
But then on that day, my mother forgot to make my packed lunch. I was forced to buy my food in the cafeteria. It's not like I didn't want to, but I wasn't used to that.
Once the bell rang for our break, most of my new classmates, including Kamiki and Kobayashi, ran outside the room to go to the cafeteria because apparently, that day was the day where they sell the special limited sandwich they only sell once a week.
I saw Kawashima, Ohgo, Shida, Nakajima, Yamada and Chinen still on their seats as if waiting for something. Probably they brought their own food, I thought.
I took my time on my way to the cafeteria. When I got there, I saw the last special limited edition sandwich on the stand. Curious on what’s special about it, I immediately took a tray and went near to the sandwich. The moment I reached and placed it on my tray, the people in the cafeteria froze. They all looked at me on funny. I didn't know why. Nobody said anything, or to be specific, no one seems to able to. No, it’s not because they have food on their mouth, but obviously for a different reason.
I then continued on walking and thought of what to get next because I was sure I won't get a full stomach with just the sandwich. I then saw the last four gyouza on display and placed it on my tray. Now, the people on the cafeteria choked on their food. It was really weird.
They all choked at the same time.
“Be careful everyone!” I shouted, trying to be friendly and then I continued walked deciding on what else to have. BAKA. xDD
I got salad and a couple of small breads. Deciding it’s enough, I asked the lady in the cafeteria for milk. Fortunately (or unfortunately), there’s still one available. Strawberry Milk.
I didn't know why but the blood on my classmates’ and schoolmates’ faces seemed to drain. What is wrong with everyone? I thought. They don’t move. No one even said anything as if something bad will happen. It was so quiet in the cafeteria. The lady seemed even reluctant on giving me the milk but she gave it, nonetheless.
Happy with my food, I went to find a table and eat.
"Ah, that's why this sandwich is special and limited because it has tuna in it!" I said, then.
While eating, I felt as if someone was boring a hole on his head. I just ignored it, thinking it's just my imagination and continued eating.
When I finished eating and drank the last drop of my strawberry milk I threw my waste on the trash bin.
I saw Kamiki and Kobayashi then, talking to each other looking panicked. I walked towards them and asked what happened. The two looked behind my back, wrote something on a piece of paper, gave it to me and ran.
I was really weirded out by then. But then, I felt someone approach me so I looked at my back and smiled when I saw Shida, Chinen and Yamada glaring at me.
I didn't know what I did. Ohgo then pointed the paper on my hand.
It says,
"Nobody dares to eat the last piece of sandwich, that's for Mirai. Nobody dares to eat the last order of gyouza, that's for Chinen. And nobody dares to drink the last strawberry milk, that's for Yamada. It's the unwritten rule."
And that was the last thing I saw before everything went black.
Rule #13: Shida Mirai had dibs on tuna, Yamada Ryosuke on strawberry and Chinen Yuri on gyouza. This is forever the case. when was this???? I can't remember this!!! drat, i might have work then. i wanna see that scene!! Dx
In effect, this rule had led me to the discovery of another rule. You see, after this incident, I have becoming trauma-- a bit paranoid and to avoid any hatreds, I've made my mom promise me to make me bento everyday until graduation. lol, you were traumatized. seriously?! XD
This, understandably, cannot always follow through as my mom have her work, too, sooo this led to the next incident.
I woke up just an hour before classes start as usual. I was having a fine and relaxed morning, I even checked my blog and surf for a while.
But then I found that note on stuck on our refrigerator.:
'Shuhei, I couldn't make you a bento today, I am running late. Just buy lunch at school, okay? Love you. -Mom' LOL. why am i imagining yuto's role in risuo no musuko?! XD
I read the note a few time before seriously panicking. And using the last minutes of my time, I try to make my own bento. I barely made it but I have my food and I didn't have to buy lunch at the cafeteria,
I was almost late. I rushed changing into my uniform and ran my way to the school. Thank goodness, I wasn't late.
I looked ridiculous, though. And when I entered the classroom, the girls all try not to laugh.
Shida then, had approach me. I remembered she is our Chairman of Public Morals, and is in charged of checking if her classmate's uniform is in order.
"Sorry." I told her when she was near enough. ohhh, i think i already know what's rule #2.... :))
"What happened to you?" She asked, giggling a bit. Shida isn't a mean or a harsh class officer. On the contrary, she's very nice and she really helps out her classmates. She's a real and honest person, there's no gap between what she shows during interviews and how she is at work or at school. She got along with everyone during our Hammer Session, too.
She had then tried to help me arrange myself. Lending me her comb and arranging my necktie.
Yamada then had entered the room, looking like usual. Neat,but not wearing a necktie and his hair a bit ruffled at parts. I had seen him look at me and Shida.
"Good morning." He told the class as he, Chinen and Nakajima walked inside the room. There were a few replies of good morning.
I had the impression though, that he was waiting for Shida's greeting. Because he looked at us, once more. But Shida was still trying to arrange me.
"Uh..." I try to say.
"Stay still." Shida said. it's coming. hahaha.
"Mirai-chan~" Yamada had called affectionately. "Can you do my necktie again? I still can't do it."
"Ah, go to Suzuka, okay? I'm not through with Shuhei-kun." She said, not looking at Yamada even once.
And I could feel the stares of all of our classmates.
And I knew this time that I was in trouble.And the glare, of course the glare shouldn't be forgotten.
For the whole day, I never left the classroom, choosing to be where Shida could easily see me cause I think that is the one thing that is protecting me. Well, you wouldn't want your girlfriend to witness it if you'll be murdering someone. good thinking. =))
Rule #2: Go to school with your proper uniform. Bed-hair is not allowed!
Annotation: Only Yamada Ryosuke have the privelege to be scrutinized by the Chairman Public Morals, Shida Mirai.
Rule #4 and Rule #6 I learned after our field trip. This rules doesn't have such heavy consequences as the previous rules, but all the same. Your life would be more peaceful to just follow them.
For starters, I need to tell you that Horikoshi 3D has a community online. It's like a sort of "private" blog where we are the only ones who can read each other's entries. It's different from our idol blogs. In this community therefore, we can be as honest as we can. We can post personal pictures and not be worried some president of an agency might have a coronary seeing his precious boys--er talents being too friendly with everyone. lol. johnny-jiji.
There are galleries of pictures there. When I first saw it, I couldn't help but smile since it's like a documentation of our high school life. I felt a bit happy that memories of us are stored there and even after we graduate, if we want to, we can just go online and relive this memories through the pictures.
But this too, have its darker side. dramatic-much? XD
Right after our field trip, I went online to look at our pictures. Almost everyone have their own cameras and during the whole trip it was like you're in a prescon with cameras flashing everywhere.
And so I went online... And as I expected, there were so many pictures already uploaded. There were pictures of mostly the girls from Maeda, pictures of sceneries from Ohgo, pictures of food from Shida, pictures of Shida from Yamada... stuffs like that.
And then I saw the combined album of Nakajima and Nishizakil. Nakajima have lots of albums, one for insects, one for Ohgo's pictures, one for Hey! Say! JUMP and that one where both he and Nishizaki upload pictures. That's my favorite album! :DD
And what pictures they are. Pictures of Miki sleeping with his mouth open, pictures of Yamada staring dorkily at Shida, pictures of Ogawa slipping, pictures of me sleeping in our hotel room, pictures of me when I just woke up, pictures of me after eating that horrible 'concotion' the boys have made with telling me it was a mash potato.

Rule #4: Always be alert. Do not show any weakness
Annotation: There are two very skilled paparazzi among 3D namely Nakajima Yuto and Nishizaki Rima. You do not want a picture taken at your ugliest moments.
And what's worst, there comes Rule #6. And Hana and Mizusawa have become fond of one of my pictures. They had told me I was so cute and started gushing about me in an eerily mother-pride like tone. LOL, they just love you like that. xD
And they had my pictures printed and stored in their wallets. Thankfully, Shida had explained it to me when I told her (cause there's Rule #11, my second choice is Shida, since I've known her from our drama together).
"They have mother-con." She had said.
"Eh?" Was my reply, thinking about Yamada's role.
"No, not like Suzuki Daichi. That's actually a wrong term. The right term for that role is Oedipus Complex. Mother complex is a complex for mothers not for sons. It's simply a 'mothering-tendencies' where mom wants to pamper their children and stuff." She explained. i didn't know that. mirai-chan's so smart~
I looked at her in confusion. "Hana and Mizusawa are not my mothers."
She laughed. "Yes, but they tend to want to pamper other people. You should see them with 1D. Just let them be, they just love you like that." She said. It was one rule that someone actually said. ohh, mirai-chan and i said the exact same thing!! XD
Rule #6: Always obey your parent's orders.
Annotation: Hana Cindy Rachel and Mizusawa Nako has mothering-tendencies. It's natural. It's the way of life. Do not resist.
Aside from our community online, Horikoshi 3D also have our text clan or mobile group. It's kinda the same thing, actually. The latter is only on phone. Whenever there is an announcement regarding the class, the class officers would use this. They'll send a message to the whole group.
But it's not exclusively for that use only. Anyone can send stuffs they want to send. Maeda sends quotes everyday with a greeting of 'good morning.' Kawashima usually send pictures of her dog, Vanilla with updates on her. It's sort of like a blog for Vanilla (the girls love that). At times, if one have a show coming, they would invite the class to watch through this. Everyone really, sends something to the group oftentimes. It's another thing that shows just how close the class is.
I am very happy when they told me about this and encouraged me to send something, to.
The first few times, I just sent quotes just as Maeda do.
One time, I was listening to this English song on my way to work. I love this song, it was my mom and dad's favorite song. I knew the meaning of the lyrics by heart.
I thought I'd want to share that with 3D, so I started translating the song in Japanese and typed it on my phone. When I was done, I sent it to everyone.
That was one big mistake. TOO TRUE.
It turned out, Kobayashi and Irie had just broke up the day before and the song... It's called 'The Old Song' and it has lyrics like 'Maybe the old song will bring back the old times' and 'Maybe we'll start to cry and wonder why we ever walk away.' TROLL. LOLS
Right after I sent the lyrics, I was bombarded with messages.
Break up quotes from both Kobayashi and Irie. Stuffs like 'sometimes love isn't enough,' ' break up is like a broken mirror. It is better to leave it broken than hurt yourself to fix it.'
I think my phone vibrated for about half an hour. It was actually quite amazing.
And then it stopped and I sighed in relief. But seconds later it started vibrating once more. This time with personal messages from all my other classmates.
'Why did you send that?! They just broke up!' -from Maeyama
'Seriously, dude. Don't get involve in this.' -from Ogawa
'What happened to Jingi and Saaya??' -from Nishiuchi
'They broke up again?' -from Shougo
'You shouldn't have sent that. What was that, anyway?' -from Ohgo
'Never do that again, I thought my phone would give out from vibrating!' -from Nakajima
'I thought there was another earthquake with all the vibrations!' -from Kamiki
'You just started a war.' -you didin't include my mail!
And so it turned out, everyone was bombarded with the same quotes.
I replied with a sorry and an explanation to everyone. Seriously, it was a lot of work.
And you know what happened next week? Kobayashi and Irie got back together... for the ninth time, according to Shida.
Rule #12: 'Breaking up' is just a phase between Kobayashi Jingi and Irie Saaya. Do not try to intervene, well, be careful what you say or you will regret it.
And regret, I did.
The next rule is similar to the last one. Same principle, really: just be careful what you say.
This is regarding Nakajima Yuto.
He's a nice guy. Friendliest of all. But one thing I can say about him is he's a fanboy.
Seriously.
And when he starts, it'll be a loooong time before he stops. So best thing to do is don't give him an opening.
I've broke this rule just after our winter break. We were just chatting around, telling each other how we spend our Christmas... when I said the forbidden word.
"My sister gave me a new camera." wrong word.
I heard everyone groan, even the girls from the neighboring table.
"Really? What camera?"
"Uh, it's just a digital camera..."
I tried very hard to keep up with him. He had so many questions it was overwhelming! I seriously wanted to take the final exam over again than be interview by him again.
The other guys had already started a new topic (leaving us alone) but he still wouldn't stop. It was as if it was just the two of us in the world and all that matters is that I know how to handle a camera or I'll die!!! /shot Okay, exaggerating a bit... But seriously, I do not want to relive that experience again.
Aside from cameras, other forbidden words are as follows:
.Insects
.Percussion Instruments
.Nakajima Raiya (don't even, seriously); and who cannot adore this kid?!?!
.Ohgo Suzuka (when she's not around)
don't forget rock songs and Tackey!
If you think Chinen is such a fanboy, get to know Nakajima a bit more. i think you haven't seen a real ohno/umika episode of chii. i'm telling you, i'd rather yuto fanboy.
Rule #3: Do not mention percussion instruments, horses, insects, cameras and especially Nakajima Raiya when the prefect is around. Do not mention Ohgo Suzuka's name as well, when said girl is not around.
I have told you about Rule #1 or the 'Chinen Rule.' Closely related to this is the 'Royal Rule' or Rule #5. lol, where are you getting all this 'names'?!
I'm not saying this is the most important rule of all. Every rule is actually just as important --well, maybe except for Rule #14 and #15, but we'll get to that later.
Back to the 'Royal Rule;' this rule has earned this name simply because it is about the 'royalties.' No, there are no descendants of traditional royal family in the batch, I'm saying this in a metaphorical way.
The prince and princess of this class, namely Chinen Yuri and Ohgo Suzuka is someone you must respect and obey. Maybe you can already guess why I call them royalties.... Once you step inside the classroom, you would get that impression at once. It's not that they try to be domineering, but everyone as good as revered them. Everyone would do all their wishes, even unconsciously. These two are the most pampered among all.
In Chinen's case, this is obvious. All of the boys, everyone in 3D, heck even the lower years pamper him. He is the only one who sits at every boy's laps. He is the one who was able to make Shida Mirai buy him a not so cheap belt. You just cannot win against his cutenesss. He doesn't even try much. Everyone just naturally gets drawn to him.
In Ohgo's case, it's not much obvious but you will be able to notice it if you're observant. It seems decisions in the class are generally made by her. For example, last December, the class was planning on going skiing. I was excited about this. I love skiing. So, I ask Nakajima when it will be.
His answer was, "We're not sure yet, but I think Suzu wants it to be after Christmas so Mariya can come."
There wasn't really anything odd there but when I ask again, this time to Kawashima, this was her reply:
"Wait, I'll ask Suzuka."
It's the same with other simple things. Like what color looks better on Shida. Irie claimed it was pink, Kamiki said it was white. They were debating on whethere it was pink or white. But when Ohgo had said she thinks it's black, everyone agreed at once. It was like magic. She is powerful. And how she carries herself is somewhat princess-like as well. And there's Nakajima who always follows her around, too. It gives an image of a princess and her protector or something. now that i think about it, this is true. O_O
Well, if you want to get along well with everyone never contradict these two.
Rule #5: Obey your rulers.
Annotation: Ohgo Suzuka and Chinen Yuri are royalties. You do not want to get in their way.
The next Rule I found, I learned the hard way. Rule #7.
It was during our school festival. It was the day of our dance competition. After changing into my costume, I went back to our classroom. I went back alone because for some reason, the other guys didn't want to go back.
When I entered the room, I saw some of the girls chatting with each other. Maeyama, Hayashi, and Maeda specifically. They were arranging each other's hair and doing make up.
I should have known something was odd when all three of them beamed at me a little too happily.
"Shuhei-kun, can you come over here?" Hayashi had called.
Bewildered but unsuspecting, I walked towards them.
And all hell went lose.
Well, okay, they just taught me the rule.
Rule # 7: Try to be invisible when the girls, specifically Maeyama Mika, Hayashi Ayano, and Maeda Nozomi, are talking about fashion.
Annotation: Make up can be a very deadly weapon. LOOOOOOOOLLL!!!!!
They didn't made me look horrid, no. I wish they did, though. Because instead they made me--- using Maeda's word, 'pretty as a doll.' I didn't dare look at the mirror to confirm this.
And that wasn't all. Just then, Hana and Mizusawa came and both of them all but squealed at how 'cute' I am. They were all gushing at me as if I was a 5 years old girl. It was so hard to follow Rule #6 just then. but you were adorable!! x33
And if it wasn't enough, Rule #4 also came into play. Hayashi had called Nishizaki, and she had arrived with her reliable camera. Nishizaki had taken so many pictures of me; made me pose in a way I swore I wouldn't open her album again and even took shots of me with all of them saying I am now one of them. I was wishing the ground would open up and swallow me whole. I was just lucky the boys weren't there to witness this. lol, but they saw the pics. xD
Rule #10, the most useful rule of all, came to me a little bit late. But all the same, it made my life easier.
Rule #10: Be friends with Ogawa Hayato, he will keep you sane, and there's no risk.
This rule is gold. Seriously. Ogawa knows everyone very well. He's a master at interacting with the others. He say all the right words, heck he can stop Nakajima even after he started (read Rule #3). He can even be exempted from the Chinen Rule. The prince is rather fond of him.
His advice is the best; completely reliable unlike some other guy I know. Plus, there is no risk of a someone threatening you with glares (in the case of our Chairman Public Morals; read Rule #2).
Most importantly, Ogawa had told about the most important rules of Horikoshi. The Golden Rules.
Rule #14: Once a 3D, you will forever be a 3D.
You can never escape 3D. Nor would you want to.
It's like your second family. Even if someone fights, or if there are misunderstandings or rivalry, this rule wouldn't change. Heck even if you broke all the other rules, this one still stands.
Nishiuchi and Sakamoto... even though officially, they are not Horikoshi students anymore, they are still part of our online community and our mobile clan. They can be liken to a family member who is away for a while. No matter where they are, they are still part of the family.
They were there during our farewell party, and they will be there tomorrow at our graduation.
Me, I've always felt I belonged even if I am 'late.' I've been part of the family since day 1.
And I wish I somehow spent a little more time with everyone. Earlier during our last practice, I laughed. Now, I am not very sure if I can do that tomorrow again. When it's already the real thing.
I know we could still see each other if we want to, but it won't be the same no matter what others say.
Well, I'm being dramatic now so I'll just tell you the last rule, the other half of the Golden Rules.
Rule #15: 3D is the best people you can ever meet in Horikoshi. In Japan, really, but I might be biased.

Okay, so I finally got my journal back. Seriously, I was trying to express myself and she have to arrive. Anyway, just ignore the stupid scribbles. It's not important.
I completely forgot what I wanted to say about Rule #15, so just take that as it is. Sorry, she completely ruined the mood. She just... ugh, let's just say my personal journal isn't very personal anymore.
And before I forget it again, there is also this one other rule:
Rule #8: Hide your personal journal from Tanaka Asami (especially if she's holding a pentel pen) or you will regret it for the rest of your life.
