Suzuka excused herself when her phone vibrated. It was currently their recess.
"Hello?" Suzuka answered.
"Suzuka? I'm currently in a shop--"
"Have you found one?" Suzuka asked excitedly.
"Yes, yes." He said, laughing. "Well, I'm in New York. There's lots here. What kind do you want? There's white, black and some with pictures of New York."
"Just the simple one. The white one." Suzuka said, beaming.
"Okay, what size do you want?" He asked.
"Um, medium maybe?"
"The sizes of the shirts are big. I think same size as our PE uniform." He said, a bit distracted.
"Oh, small then." Suzuka said.
"Got it. I'll buy it now."
"Arigatou gozaimasu, Yama-chan!" Suzuka said with a smile.
"No problem." Yamada said. "I'll hang up now. Ja."
"Hai, bye!" Suzuka said.
"You were talking with Yama-chan?"
Suzuka almost jumped at the voice. She didn't notice Yuto had come.
"Ah, hai. I asked him to buy me a souvenir from New York." She said.
"It's their last day there. Did he found what you asked? My mom's in New York, too. I can ask her if Yama-chan wasn't able to buy it." He said with a smile.
"It's okay. He already bought it. It's just an 'I ♥ NY' shirt." Suzuka explained.
"Ah, that is bound to be everywhere in New York. And the shirt is a trademark for the city, ne?"
Suzuka smiled. "I don't really care about that though."
"Eh?"
"That's not the reason I asked for it." Suzuka said, laughing. "It doesn't mean 'I love New York' to me. It means 'I love Nakajima Yuto.'" Suzuka said, unabashed.
"Oh." Yuto said, grinning and blushing like mad.

Suzuka raised a brow at the caller's number. She doesn't recognize it.
Shrugging, she pick up her phone anyway.
"Hello, Suzu-chan?"
"Yuto! How are you? Are you in Hawaii now?" Suzuka asked, a small smile creeping on her face.
"Ah, hai. We arrived safely about an hour ago." Yuto said.
"Uh, Yuto? Whose number is this?" Suzuka asked.
"Uhm, that's the thing. I'm using payphone. We're currently in a gasoline station." Yuto said, his voice soft.
"Gas station?"
"Hai... uhm, can I ask a favor?" Yuto asked.
"What is it? What happened?" Suzuka asked, worriedly.
"Can you maybe send a mail to Yama-chan or Chii? Tell them we're at the gas station... We, um, Yuma and I kinda got left by our van." Yuto said sheepishly.
"What????" Suzuka exclaimed.
"Well, we went to the toilet and when we went out, the van was gone. We didn't bring our phones with us. Luckily, Yuma's wallet was in his pocket. The other members were sleeping then, so I think they didn't notice us. Plus we were sitting at the back..." Yuto tried to say. He really felt embarrassed this happened to him.
"Why didn't you call your phone, then? It would have been faster." Suzuka just had to ask.
"Well, I left my phone off... because we just came from the airport and all. And Yuma's phone is lowbatt, he thinks. And I didn't memorized any of the member's numbers. I can't possibly call mom or dad. Mom would freak, and dad wouldn't live it down for the rest of my life. Besides them, I only know your number by heart. I'm so sorry for bothering you." Yuto said.
Suzuka sighed in resignation. Yuto can really be a kid sometimes.
"I'll call them. But really, you should be careful. You're in a foreign country, for heaven's sake." Suzuka scolded.
"Sorry for worrying you..." Yuto said.
Suzuka sighed. "It's okay. Well, I'll call Yama-chan now so I have to hang up."
"Okay..." Yuto said. "I'll call you when we're back with them."
"Yes, you should. Bakajima!" Suzuka said, with mock-anger.
"I promise I will." Yuto said, and Suzuka could hear the smile in his voice.
"Well, bye now." Suzuka said.
"Un. Bye. Love you."
"Love you, too."

Yuto's phone rang. He smiled. It was exactly 12'oclock.
He picked it up and answered.
"Hey..." She said.
Yuto's smile grew wider. "Suzu-chan..."
"Happy Birthday! You're 18 now!" Suzuka said in a very loud voice.
Yuto laughed. "Arigatou. How are you? How's the test?"
"It was hard." She said, "But I survived somewhat. How are you? Are you going out with your family later?"
"Not yet sure. I have work today." Yuto said. "God, I missed your voice." He suddenly muttered.
Suzuka laughed. "I miss you too." She said.
"You'll be coming back soon?" He asked.
"Yes, but we'll tour for a bit first. I really need to get to know the place." She said. "The place is really beautiful, I wish you were here. It'll be so much fun."
Yuto went silent for a while.
"Yuto?"
"I think I'll take an exam in UCLA, too." He suddenly declared
"Ha? What are you talking about?"
"I... I just want to be with you." He said, sadly.
"I do, too." Suzuka said. "But, you have your responsibilities. I have mine. Besides, we're of legal age now, we can just visit each other. That is, if I would pass. I don't yet know if I really would be studying here."
"I'm sure you'll pass, it's you." Yuto said, still sounding sad.
"Don't be sad on your birthday, you." Suzuka said, trying to sooth him.
"I wish you're here right now." Yuto said.
"I love you wherever I am." Suzuka said.
Yuto finally smiled. "I love you, too."

Suzuka grinned when her phone vibrated.
'Right on time.' She thought, looking at the clock.
She unlocked her phone and read the text message.
'Morning! Oh, it's already evening there, ne? How're things there?' It was from Yuto.
Suzuka smiled and typed a reply.
'We're just cleaning and arranging stuffs... We'll be going home in a while. How are you there? How's Vegas?' She sent her reply.
'I'm standing in the middle of nowhere, without a shirt.' was the quick reply.
Suzuka blinked.
'You're not saying you're lost again, are you??' she replied.
'No, no. xD It's for our photoshoot. I'm with everyone. :D' Yuto's new message read.
Suzuka laughed.
'LOL. Good luck... Isn't it cold?' She replied.
'Freezing. How was your shooting?' Was Yuto's reply.
'It was fun... but it was also exhausting. I thought we would never finish.' Suzuka clicked the 'send' button.
She waited a while before Yuto replied once more.
'I miss you.' It said.
Suzuka smiled.
'You must miss your shirt too. :)) kidding~' was her reply.
'/pouts. Don't you miss me?'
'Not right now. I'll tell you when I do. :))'
'Mou~ Suzu-chan's so harsh sometimes. You could have just lied y'know~ /pouts more.'
'I don't lie. You know that.... I don't really miss you right now. I just feel exhausted. Sorry. :P'
'Well, that what makes you you... but still... /pouts.'
Suzuka laughed and started typing her reply.
'Well, how about 'I love you,' then?'
She waited, but instead of a message, she received a call.
"Hello?" Suzuka answered.
"I love you, too." Yuto said.
Suzuka laughed. "I know, silly. You didn't have to call."
"I know. I just want to call." Yuto said.
"Hm..."
"What is it?" Yuto asked.
"I think I'm missing you now."
