Yes, the economy is the only reason people look as though they might be swinging the other direction. We are mindless sheep, incapable of seeing past the here and now. We obviously blame Obama for the economy, which was on a downhill slide before he entered office. That must be the reason! It's not because we're terrified of what has been proposed for the healthcare legislation. It's not because we're angry over an economic stimulus that seemed to line the pockets of the people that needed it least. It's not because the 'jobs saved or created' BS tallied up to $160,000 per person, proving the inefficiency of the insane government spending. It's not because we sincerely see a limit to what the federal government can and should be doing to improve the state of this large and diverse country.
