i think this bothers me
you know those little kids that you knew when you were in high school and they were in grade school? like younger siblings of your friends and those kids friends. well, to me they're not supposed to get older. they're still the same age as they've ever been and now i see pictures of them in high school and college and it doesn't look right. like someone has just added material to them to make them bigger, but they're still 10 and 11. and yes i am aware of how it works, but that's how it feels. i forget sometimes that they get older too. so now that i've graduated from college it means that no one i went to high school with is still there. they are all in college too. which is weird cause the freshmen are still freshmen in my head. it's like it my head no one ever ages. i get older and therefore people older than me get older, but those of you lucky enough to be younger than i am will never age.
