I think I'm going to try out for college Jeopardy. The online test is in a month. I have some reviewing to do, but I routinely get around $8,000 - $13,000 when I play along when it airs on TV so I think I have a pretty good chance of getting to the auditions in Atlanta. It's weird, you take a test just to audition, and then you basically wait around for half a year until they tell you that you were one of the 15 chosen. I think it'd be awesome just to have an excuse to go to Atlanta, but apparently if you're one of the quarterfinalists on TV you automatically leave with $5000.

I was looking it up, and according to Wikipedia, no one from UF has ever made it to TV, but 2 people from FSU have (and one random person from the University of West Florida, which I forgot even existed). I probably don't have a chance in hell, but I might as well use all the time I spend on the computer more efficiently. I've already learned all the capitals, governors, nicknames, state birds and flowers of all the 50 states and I have about half of all the world capitals memorized as well. Things I need to brush up on: literature, history (of everything), mythology, sports, US presidents & their cabinets, world leaders, latin root words, the Bible, biographies of important people, and probably a lot more. Things I'm fairly knowledgeable about: Technology, music, movies...basically anything pop culture. Ugh this will be a long month.

Meanwhile, I started classes a week ago or something, they're fine, work is fine, everything is fine, except I'm moving again because apparently our lease at our house now is illegal/invalid. I'm not complaining since most places we're looking at are even cheaper/bigger (including one which has a fucking BASEMENT! In FLORIDA!), and we have like 30 days to find a new place so hopefully it won't be a huge deal.
