Originally uploaded by caseyzeroA couple of weeks ago I read that a British Columbia group was coming to San Francisco to promote BC tourism. As part of this, they were giving us ten days of free zipline rides from a 140' tower. It opened at 10 this morning. We arrived at about 9:30 and waited, and were within the first 20-25 people

I just happened by there today around 1 and was amused by the zipline. The lines appeared short (the same person passed overhead twice within half an hour). I was kinda disappointed at the fake 3D sidewalk drawing with the staged crayons as if it had been created there (most of the surface is a laminate, possibly covering actual art).

I wonder how much tourist revenue this generate will. In addition to Just Herman, BC tourism has bought large chunks of BART advertising space.
