Why am I doing this?
Most likely because I can't think of anything else to do at the moment. Long time no see, journal/ppl who still read this, i'm back. I am sittin here in my chair, about to go to westwood's football game this weekend. They havn't made the playoffs this far in many years.

I haven't shaved in 2 weeks, short of my neck which my mom still got to me about. I have eaten Kix cereal for the third time for breakfast, since my mom bought it for me the other day. I'm very tired, but that's mostly due to a sunburn (more on that in a bit)
Maybe my purpose for this journal is actually a journal, and not a place to change my beliefs or a way to see how the world is doing. After all, i'm sure the original intent was to simply create a journal that everyone could happen to see.
I went to the UT/A&M game yesterday, and wow, it was worth the sunburn! I felt good being the "few and proud" of the onlookers at that game, the day as clear as field, the fans cheering, the common belief of the crowd, being it cheering or booing...it's such an interesting sport, as hard as it is for me to think about it (never used to like football, and marching didn't help with this).
I've changed a lot since Westwood, but in truth, i've only changed a few of my hobbies. For example, i've learned to be more studious, to grow up on my own, to study (still working on this one), and to read better. My knowledge as an engineer hasn't improved much, since i'm taking these annoying classes that are requirements early on. (we have to take 2 government courses as engineers, why do we need to do this?) I didn't pass the AP test in gov't in high school, and i'm worried about the grade in college for my other gov't class as well now. Something about gov't just never jived or something.
I've met new friends these last couple of months, but i still (attempt) to keep in touch with my old friends as well. My weekend is filling up quickly. Once I get back from wood's game today, I may have to end up leaving again the next afternoon...
Yesterday, my grandad came with some other friends to watch the T/A&M game and to eat dinner with us at the oasis. That resteraunt has changed a lot since it burned down.
I hope to see you guys again soon!
