Pilot Grey Cotton

-in the beginning of his "for the sake of the people" unpaid job, Pilot was the first in the U.S. to loosely organize a group of people to protect the innocent and unseeing public from the monsters they couldn't identify. After a year, he was the only one left due to a large number of deaths and dropping out of the position. for at least two years he did this alone until the Academy picked him up and a few other members were forced to help him out during a sticky situation. You can only imagine his reaction when he realized he wasn't alone...
-he researched and assembled weapons to conquer creatures of the darkness. his experience and expanding knowledge marked him as a man in the Underworld to be destroyed. his experience of losing teammates had steeled him; his dual life proved an issue. He kept from his fiancee that he fought for her safety. She what kept him sane sometimes.
-when he was offered a position at the Academy as a weapons researcher and specialists he took it without question. What else was left out there for him? refer to:
-his fiance is killed when he narrowly escapes death. the demons who were killed sent for help and the other demons killed his fiance so when Pilot was overcome with grief, in his weakened state they would attack and drag him to hell and he would pay for what he had done. Pilot goes into a wild frenzy when they confront him and they are without a chance flattened and obliterated. When the Academy recruiters find him and try to get him to go quietly he almost ruins his chances of ever becoming a weapons specialist, he practically kills a few of the recruiters thinking they were there to kill him for knowing too much. He feels like an ass later...
-after this he is a deeply troubled person. Is hellbent on destroying all evil, he doesnt want anyone to lose someone like he did.
-is the eldest of the members. Is there before any of them.
-wears the most awesome boots ever.
