Oh man!
I received the results from the pathology report. Some of it is good and some of it is bad. The good part is that the cancer is a stage II out of IV stages, the fourth obviously being the worst stage. The bad part is that the cancer is fast growing which makes it a III out of a III. The surgeon told me that I’ll be starting chemo in a week or so. This is much sooner than I expected. Another thing that is good is that chemo is a very good treatment for aggressive cancer. It will hunt it out and kill it, which is what I want. She told me that she expects that I’ll do well with my treatments. I had asked her what type of chance I had and she said without the chemo I had a 50% chance of survival. With the chemo my stats will rise considerably. I really want to survive, but at the same time I’m scared witless! I don’t want to head down the other percentage side. I want to be the side that makes it! Well, I can tell that it is time to buy scarves for my head, and those of you that are making me hats I really appreciate it! :D I just want to keep my eyebrows. Isn’t that weird? Eyebrows.
