life signs et cetera...
first i'd like to apologise for being such a lousy blogger lately. as i've written in one of my last non-twitter posts, life has pulled a nice 180 on me and has blessed me with a wonderful partner and a nice job. that coupled with other pass-times of mine (alternative music, various tv shows and generally being a geek) has kept me pretty busy and therefore left me with little strength and energy to do much else.
that being out of the way, what's new?
well, not that much to be completely honest. due to my job once again being of a computer-technical nature, my focus has shifted a little bit more towards the world of IT and technology, also a couple of small projects are planned or have already taken place, such as adding more storage to the home setup, upgrading my home network and so on. next up will be maxing out my trusty mac mini's ram and adding an ssd harddrive.
i may be a geek, but i remain a goth. i'm still very much interested in the subculture and have no plans to having it be just a phase. still i rejoce each and every time a new cd arrives in the mail and there were some pretty good ones lately. ego likeness' breedless and kiss the girls by solemn novena deserve mentioning, the latter especially so as i've been playing it up and down whenever there's not a podcast playing on my ipod. those of you in particular who like old-school goth music will enjoy solemn novena, they have a great 80s vibe to them while not sounding out of place today.
well, what's left? my girlfriend is still being crazy, mad and wonderul and i enjoy every single minute i'm allowed to spend with her. i <3 her very much indeed.
