my sister is pregnant with twins!!!
when we were visiting last month i teased her that since she was older (36) she was more likely to have twins. i was right. need-less-to-say she was cursing me as she left the doctors office today. my nephew will be 4 in november and my niece will be 2 next week. she is due april 30.
she has a problem with pre-term labor. my nephew was born 7 and a half weeks early so she had to get progesterone shots every week while she was pregnant with lily. as soon as she stopped getting the shots lily popped out...literally, in the ambulance. she was in labor for less than 2 hours. so add this to the fact that she is having twin (fraternal thankfully, slightly less risky) she is going to be monitored very closely. i told her i should just come stay with her for the whole month of april. humm....i'll have to see how i can work that out.
i was going to get her an ergo so she could more easily go out with all three children. but now she's going to need two. i wonder if you can wear two at once? do they eve make a twin sling? she could wear one on front and one on back. let the craziness begin!
