I took my last SAT today! It was really boring and I'm glad I dont have to take it again. I'm taking my last ACT on the 22nd, which is unfortunately homecoming. Other than that, I really didnt do anything today. I took a long nap when I got home while I was watching college football with my dad. Then, I talked on the phone for awhile and I just finished watching Hidalgo. It is a really good movie!
Yesterday, NHS Induction was boring as usual. I was so scared that I was going to light something on fire during the candle-lighting part. I was lighting the candle, and my hand was shaking and I had a funny feeling in the pit of my stomach, almost as if I were nervous! My calculus test went well I think. And other than that, school was boring as usual. Luckily I dont have much homework this weekend so I can just relax before the start of the new quarter. The football game was really cold. I had my turtleneck on and during the second half, I had my warmup pants on. It actually felt like fall. The game went well and I didnt get bitched at at all which was nice. During the 4th quarter I did get injured though. I landed weird on the inside of my right foot (where I injured it last spring) and it started hurting really bad whenever I bent it and put pressure on it. Rachel told me to go see the trainer and the trainer looked at it and said that I have something called turf toe. I have no clue what that is, but it is painful! She wrapped my foot/toe so that I cant bend it. It is now hard to walk, so I feel like a gimp again. The trainer also told me to rest it this weekend and not to do any physical activity until cheerleading practice on Tuesday after I talk to her. That means I cant do anything at Powderpuff practice tomorrow except run through the plays and I cant do anything during gym class Monday. Hopefully it isnt anything serious.
The Powderpuff game is in one week, next Saturday at 6:30. Notre Dame plays USC next Saturday on NBC at 2:30. I might go over to Kari's to watch the game. I hope ND wins!
I'll end with a quote/poem:
"Meeting you was fate,
becoming your friend was a choice,
but falling in love with you was beyond my control."
