I picked up
this book recently to go along with
this other one. Between the two of them, I've got a long list of nifty hikes within a short drive of the Eugene area.
I scouted one out yesterday, very close to home, to see if I needed a
forest pass to park there or anything. It looks like it's a very nice, Coast Range hike... there's supposed to be some old growth Douglas fir near the top. And it's BLM, no parking pass required. I didn't have time to do the hike -- had to run to make a maternity center tour -- but I will soon.
Soon.
Among the many wonderful, generous baby gifts we've received, we got a
Baby Björn carrier. So wee
Riley will be an extra reason to get out and be active.
