...well, maybe it was the inexorable will of God.
I say this because even if Scotto's hadn't been sold I would no longer have a car to drive.
A Brief Summary:
-[1 year ago]I buy a 92 Pontiac Bonneville.
-[1 year ago until vaguely the present time] lots of stuff happens.
-[June]I get a summer job delivering pizza in Mount Holly.
-[2 weeks ago] Bonneville rolls over and dies.
-[2 weeks ago] My mother lends me her van to drive until October when I will buy a new car with some Student Loan money.
-[One month ago] My boss begins plans to expand into Glassboro.
-[Sunday] I lose my job when the restaurant in Mount Holly is sold suddenly.
-[Yesterday] My mother takes my grandmother to a doctor's appointment and is rear-ended by an SUV 200 yards from Deborah Heart and Lung. Everyone is fine! ...The van, less so. Back door and bumper are crumpled in, but no glass breaks and the signals all still work. And for those of you who remember the pictures from my trip to South Carolina you'll know exactly why my mother has more insurance on this car than the family home.
So really, its just insane.
