Well, not literally, but it feels like it. I'd forgotten just how hard four subjects a semester could be. I've just requested an extension for one of my final assessments, and I'll be requesting same for another this afternoon. I hate the feeling of anxiety building in my stomach.
A lot of is has nothing to do with uni and everything to do with the realisation that, financially, my family is screwed for the next month at least. Goddamn. This is only partially alleviated by having just paid off $60 of my *sob* $300 student-loan.
But I'm still experiencing the onset of anxiety attacks every time I (stupidly) think about just how much work I have to do to pass this semester. I cannot afford another semester of work, I cannot, I cannot.
On another note - OMG! I just heard a Chronicles of Narnia theme ringtone! OMG! That's so cute and cool!
Woah. Welcome to the land of the irrational moodswings. Boy, depression and anxiety are fun.
So yeah. I have a 4000-word essay to write (of which I - hopefully - have about 50 words at the moment... unless I scrap that idea and try something new again) for Theory and Practice of Fiction; a 2500-word essay (which will probably be extended wank) to write for Shakespearean Worlds. These are the two I'm requesting an extension for - they're currently due June 4th.
I also have about 200 A5 pages worth of notes, translations, article-responses and a book review to do for Old English (*cries*), which may be handed in a day late. No more, dammit, Bernard is far too nice to disappoint! And a Philosophy exam to prepare for. Fortunately, the lecturer is an absolute darling, and gave us the exam questions early. How lovely is that?!? (Yep, Es, you missed the exam questions!)
But it's still a LOT to do.... *sigh*
And now, on a lighter note:
You're a Spirograph!! You're pretty tripped out,
even though you've been known to be a bit
boring at times. You manage to serve your
purpose in life while expending hardly any
effort (and are probably stoned to the gills
all the while).
What childhood toy from the 80s are you? brought to you by
Quizilla Heh. I used to love those Spirographs. Rachel (li'l sis) used to have the full set...
You're Monet!! Fuzzy and romantic, your art is
destined to hang on every college freshman
girls' dorm room wall until the end of time.
What famous artist are you? brought to you by
Quizilla Mmm. Monet. So much more peaceful than I currently feel...
*sigh* Okay. Enough angsting. May post again tonight. Or tomorrow.
