I thought Luke Menard did fairly well tonight. For the first time, I didn't find myself cringing while watching him perform. I thought his voice suited the Wham! song and he wasn't that bad with the moves. Also, his voice wasn't that squeaky tonight. Thinking of the '80s as a theme, I thought Luke would be fine with either a George Michael or Kenny Loggins song, the former he did. I don't get the Randy Jackson comments on pitch. Last week was pitchy, this week's fine. Lemme see, because next is ...

Yes, the song Another Day in Paradise is about homeless people. We know that, ans precisely because it is about the homeless, it is a sad and depressing song. I remember Mr. Collins singing this song when he visited Operacion Triunfo and the girls started crying. I was like, "Well, it could be sad..." The lyrics are sad, the melody is sad. I am sooo relieved Simon didn't smother Archuleta with indecent amounts of praise. Paula did. That's what she's there for. Again, DAVID, CAN'T YOU HOLD THE VOCAL RUNS 'TIL THE END OF THE SONG, PLEASE? PLEASE??????????????? PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love ketchup, but when there's ketchup all over my food and even on my rice, it can get sick.

I love Danny Noriega when he doesn't sing. I love his intro videos and his interaction with Simon, Ryan, and the other judges. What does that mean? Hmmmm... I have to agree with Randy on this one, he started a little unsure.
Oooooooooohhhhhhhhh. DIVA Hernandez, este David Hernandez tackles a pre-trying-to-sound-American-so-I-still-have-a-very-noticable-French-Canadien-accent Celine Dion song! Great effort. My problem was not the singer, but the song was... slow. It was like arranged 1/8 note slow. Not much... kinetic tension as I anticipated. Or maybe not as much percussion as I wanted. Underwhelming.

Of course, Michael Johns sings an INXS song. And he's getting hotter by the week. I agree with Simon though, no wow moment yet.

NOW THIS IS WOOWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! David Cook sings Hello by Nicole Richie's dad. WoWWWWWWWWWW! One more time, wowwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. Que crack!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jason Castro had me with his eyes. He sang? Oh that too. Very good. But back to the eyes.

Chikezie sang his audition song. His voice is still right on. It has a warm quality I like. The song is a little... cabaret-ish, as Simon loves to put it.
Simon has already given the scarlet letter to Luke and Chikezie, so I think they'll be gone. But then, I'll have to agree. This show was a really good one. In Filipino, walang tulak kabigin.
