University of Maine
Today i had to wake up at 7 o clock!! it was horrible. I had to wake up so early cause i went to the universtiy of Maine today, and its a 2 1/2 hour drive from where i am in maine. the ride was pretty cool cause we like left civilization for almost 2 hours and then boom! we saw this huge mall off the highway. but it was really nice cause the whole ride was like scenic ( i cant spell)and really pretty. the campus is absolutely gorgeous, all brick buildings and its nicely spread out with tons of quads and trees. our tour guide was wicked funny. he started out by saying that he had been guiding tours for 3 years so he had a lot of experience walking backwards and pointing.... and then he triped. i laughed. they have wicked nice athletics facilites, including a wicked nice indoor track. the cool thing is they have intermural indoor track as well as Division-1. So if i dont make the team ( which wont be a problem :P) i could just run intermurals. They even have intermural pond hockey! but by far the best part was the food marketplace. unbelievably good food. yes well after i checked out the school track records ( some arent that good, like zampi has a faster 600 time than their record)me and my dad went to fort Knox. no not the one with the gold :P, its an old civil war fort on some river in maine, that was supposed to protect Bangor, a mill city back then. We almopst got lost in like the bowels of the fort, very creepy. And then we came home! and here i am listening to Coldplay, watchin the sox pound the jays 11-2, and typing this thinger.
