I am ripped! I ended up having to get up at the ass crack of dawn to go to the middle of nowhere in RI for court because of my ticket. I had to do the 25 hours community service over the past month and had to go today to hand them in. We get there and go up front just to see if we could hand them in and not wait. Another girl could because the cop from Cranston was there but the fucking Tiverton cop had not showed up yet so I had to wait.
I waited for 2 hours while the judge went thru the people with the lawyers. Then they called me and I present the community service hours and letters of proof and they dont even look at it. Then the judge tells me the ticket is void because the cop did not write the speed in the appropriate box on the ticket which automatically voids a ticket. SO THE WHOLE COMMUNITY SERVICE AND TRIPS TO THE COURT WERE POINTLESS!!!!! The fucking cop who was there last time is a FUCK HEAD because he didnt pick up on that last time and I was so pissed.
