I see ads in the paper/online about items that are perceived as "stocking stuffers," things like CDs and high tech thermometers and etc that can cost up to $30.00.
In my household, at least, this is not a stocking stuffer. This is a full blown gift. If it's $30.00 you put it in a box or a bag and stick in under the tree.
Our idea of stocking stuffers are under $5.00 and usually involve fruit, lotto tickets, candy, and etc.
I'd love to live in a place where that $30.00 shot glass that measures how much booze you have is considered a stocking stuffer.
