Movin Around!!!
In one day McKenzie went from a tiny baby to a big girl! Yesterday she started to comando crawl, willingly ate sweet potatoes, and actually played in the bathtub! Over the last few days Mac has been trying to crawl she just couldn't seem to get the steps in order. Then yesterday morning she was doing this very slow arm crawl. Then by last night she was movin all over the house and pretty quickly too. I swear she's ready for boot camp, she would be a pro at the barbed wire crawl! She hit seven months and now can do everything on her own. for the last three months she has not been that interested in food and last night she opened her mouth for the spoon and didn't gag at all. We'll see tonight if she likes other food now or if it's just sweet potatoes (which I have given her before and she gagged through the whole feeding). And, in the bath she played and splashed and grabbed at her toys. I can't believe she is getting so big. I realize now that she is closer to one year then to being a brand new baby! It's so bitter sweet: my baby is growing up and that's exciting, but she also isn't a tiny baby anymore!
We're coming to California tomorrow! We are so excited to see everyone! You'd think that it's been years since we saw everyone and not just two weeks.
