Quick update on the photo situation
So I just got an email from the photographer at Creation informing me that he mailed my photo today. He also said he "hoped I had a good overall at the show". At the moment I'm very surprised given Creation's track record on following through with promises. We'll see if they actually show up (I'm expecting them Saturday or Monday).
I'm thinking I won't try to respond to him because the level of snark contained in the reply would be impolite (though well deserved).
I will still be sending an email off to Gary about what happened (as he's much more likely to give a shit than Adam) as there *has* to be a better way of working through these things. I posted my plight on Gateworld and the Facebook group and I've heard from SEVERAL other people who've had their photos just vanish at other cons. So apparently this is a thing now. I'm trying to grasp why anyone would want to take someone else's photo op... I mean its not like you can generally cut off half the photo and just have the star...
