It's late, and I can't sleep... which isn't a good thing. Maybe its' the excitement. Anyway, I can't say too much right now, for reasons that will become obvious, but it looks like I may be heading to Manchester in the not-too-distant future to cover a certain combat sport event.
In the space of 48 hours, I've gone from having a blank calendar to having (by my standards, at least) a packed month: WrestleMania last night (okay, I wasn't there, but I rarely watch WWE pay-per-views live these days), 1PW in Doncaster this Friday, Drowning Pool and Ill Niño in a week... and potentially the Manchester MMA show on the 21st.
It's just as well that Easter's going to be pretty slow (1PW aside), and I should be able to have a quiet weekend for once, without any b.s. that's characterised the year so far. Ice-cream, and soda and pizza, oh my! (just not the Chicago Town home-baked stuff - but that's another story for another day)
I should be getting the Boondock Saints DVD in the next day or two: and I'm expecting great things (not that anyone's built it up or anything, eh Catherine? :))
They're all good distractions, but I could do with a few more, if anyone's listening! ;-)
... and finally: the most bizarre heart-warming story you'll see for a while.
