STOP THE FINANCIAL AID CUT PROPOSED BY CONGRESS
For those of you who are college students (or soon to be), your chances of getting necessary financial aid from the gov't may no longer be available. The Budget Plan for the Fiscal Year 2006 is before the House of Representatives. The vote (which was postponed on thursday) will take place next year. An $11 billion dollar cut in funding for student loans is on the list and doesn't seem to be changed.
