Well, I'm gonna miss Matt Smith's wonderful, awkward, adorable, young, ancient, grave, hilarious Eleventh Doctor. He kept me tied to the show as it went through whole large blocks of episodes that I might have even hated if it weren't for his mesmerizing characterization. I've found the show's writing a bit stronger recently, and therefore have enjoyed Doctor Who for more than the merits of Smith (and the occasional wonderful River Song appearance), but there's no doubt I'll still be sad to see him go. (I wouldn't be sad to see Moffat go, but alas, that's not what's happening - yet.) Ah well, 'tis life as a Whovian. Let's hope the next Doctor brings something else new and glorious to the role.
