Firstly, yay, another XF person writing Fringe! It's so delightful to see this pop up from you!

Secondly, this was such a great bit of character study on Olivia, and the confusion we saw inside her mind. I appreciated that you were willing to delve a bit into some of the things we were shown, but just as willing to let some of them be a little confusing to Olivia, too.

Thanks! I know as an ardent Phile, I was quite antagonistic toward the show when I first heard about it, but then once I succumbed, I had to admit it was awesome. Now I can't live without it! ;-)

And thank you! I love Olivia, and it was interesting to try to figure out what the episode meant to her. I'm glad it worked for you.

Somehow my favorite thing in this is how you caught her stepfather's ever-present sneer. I saw that in the episode, too--even as a cartoon, he sneered!

Also...I hadn't given much thought to Olivia noticing the merrily tripping Broyles, after the fact. Ha!

Hee, thanks. Yeah, I felt like that was a rather telling and interesting trait for her mental representation of her stepfather.

And I didn't really think about Olivia's reaction to Broyles at the end until after rewatching the episode several times - and then I realized it had to go into my fic. Broyles tripping will never not be hilarious.

Really good POV here, even though I had no idea I'd want to read this til I tried it.
