home from work
It was funny, today i realized that i had already set up another live journal account under a different screenname almost 2 years ago. I only had one entry in it, but got it was so funny to read it, the memorys just came rushing back. So it made me want to keep posting on this as often as possible, because even though it may seem unimportant it will be fun to look back on all this.
Work was pretty shity today, but its pretty rare that I come home and say, "wow i had a great day at work today!". It sucks when people forget to do little things because in the end we all suffer for it. today was one of those days where i spent a lot of time picking up the slack for everyone up untill the minute i left.
Also i just realized today I have been smoking for quite sometime now. I never really intented to start, it just sort of happened slowly over the course of the last semester. Living in New York has turned me into a smoker....i knew this city was no good for me. :-) Hopefully when i go back to santa fe i kick the habbit, its unhealthy, and well, we just have no oxygen there, so smoking just sounds like a terrible idea. But for now it really doesnt help dating a smoker, living with smokers, and working with smokers, they just get handed to me sometimes......
I also just saw Thelma and Louise the other night for the first time. Great great film. And they spend half of their time driving through New Mexico and other places in the southwest. It made me really miss Santa Fe. I just realized how excited I am to go back, and thats something i never thought was possible. It really is true you always want to be where you aren't.
And gay pride happened the other day! It was so much fun, consisting of crazy drag queens, really gay music, and endless amounts of handouts and condoms. It was fun, but not as slutty as L.A.s pride. Whats that all about??
Well is was a long day, im takin a power nap......
