Jobs, Death, Illness and Panini

I've been job hunting since January. NO LUCK! One of the reasons is that everyone has these damned internet applications! So impersonal. How are they going to know me and see that I'm hiring material if they never meet me, just judge me by some standardized quiz? NO! I never even got an interview! Except once, the application for the Regal Cinema theater was on paper, thank you very much and I did get an interview and I have to say I did very very well. But like I said no luck, so that was sad. But there is a Job Fair happening in the Everett Mall this month that I'm going to go to and they hire on the spot there. So luck for me!!!!

Now some bad news. My grandmother died. The first person that passed away that I was very close to. I found out about right after my interview at the theater. Everything was good that morning for me, until the call from my father with the news. I went to the funeral and saw my father crying, and nothing is quite as bad as seeing a grown man, let alone your own father, burst into tears.

Also right went my mom and I where driving back from Kennewick to Lynnwood, I got the stirrings of the flu. That was nearly a week ago. I still have trouble swallowing (please, no jokes), my throat hurts, I'm coughing a lot, and blowing into tissues left and right. I used the whole pack of Advil: Cold & Sinse and had relief for a while, but now it's gone and I'm in pain.

Now the plus side. MY FRIENDS, you MUST have one of my home-made Paninis! Though after I told you about my illness, probably best to wait a while. But after that, you MUST try them. Some time this month... or maybe next month. I plan to visit the Cornelius and I'm bringing a Pinini or two. I advise you to COMMENT if you wish to partake of this delious dish! I hope you like basil.
