Long Time No Post

Busy Busy Weekends. Friday night was our staff Christmas party. My boss made a special speech where we talked about the "gifts" that her staff gave her throughout the year. Mine was conscience. It made me smile. I didn't think they listened when I talked about fair trade coffee and modern day slavery. Other then that it was a wild time. There was even a puzzle.
Saturday brought the mini tradition of market, juice, snooty's and beer (yes we went to snooty’s after the market and drank beer) with Katalin and Carrie. I often wonder just how annoying we are when we are out being giggling and silly. Katalin assures me that people admire our youthful ways, but I still wonder. Saturday night was Katalin's birthday party. We made up for my underachieving planning abilities by drinking a lot. It worked out in the end. We made friends with a middle aged couple at our favourite bar. There was much dancing.
Christmas in the village was a grand success. I didn't really buy anything, but there was cider and hats and lots of good ol' Gagetown Folk. My dad and I went for a walk, my art teacher from high school referred to Stephan Dion as "your guy" and I saw a dog dance on two legs. Average trip home.
Canadian politics is great right now. I can't stop gasping with glee from the news.
