Oh Cobalt I love and hate you sooooo-
Okay, so I got my copy of Cobalt Comics 2010 October last Saturday!! It was really nice overall, this happened to be my first time seeing a Japanese comics magazine and it felt weird since the last time I had a comics magazine(not Japanese) was about 10 years ago.
The cover was lovely, the main art being from Count and Faery(?), a shoujo series.
Being a magazine it had comics for tons of other series' too, but I flipped through them. I was lucky though, there was a colour poster that was drawn by Matsumoto Temari and oh I love her art! *squee* What suprised me was that there was a nc17 yaoi comic too 0_o. Okay... that was unexpected. Anyhow I was very carefully turning the pages-
And.Then.There.It.Was.
Kagetora-samaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa hell I love you too much T_T
Okay, so I'd known that it was a 50 page long comic but I was ready to cry tears of joy when I saw the sheer amount of pages that the story spanned, and omgomgomg what am I seeing, is that really Kagetora-sama playing a flute *faints*
It's a touching story from the prequel series, wonderfully drawn by the ever talented Hotaka Ran, story as always courtesy of Kuwabara sensei, the comics is about Kagetora, Haruie and Naoe attempting to exorcise ghosts from a ghost castle that has fallen long ago, and Kagetora's reflection on his relationship with Naoe, though I've yet to read to confirm the latter part.
I'm roughly done up to page 10 in translations, meaning I've still 40 pages to go. But I plan to get this translated and scanslated before the end of the year. Lol my hopeful deadline is December 31st 2010.
I'd just write a review of the story, but I'll just do that after finishing the scanslation XD Ha!
