I had my first look at the iPhone today and you can say what you want about it's limitations and about what it doesn't have, but the touch screen interface is nothing short of outstanding and an absolute delight to use. Ok so there's no 3G, you have network lock-in, it costs a fortune and you have to take out a minimum 18-month £35/month contract, but it's a lovely bit of kit that will force all other manufacturers to up their game - and that has to be a good thing. The price plans alone will stop me from getting one regardless of anything else, but that interface is almost enough - *almost* - to make me disregard my financial limitations and sign up anyway. Almost.
