Why did the vet clinic cross the road?

So the old building could be gutted and expanded, of course.

Remember October 2008, when they were first talking about expanding the clinic? Yeah, they're finally gonna start. So, VETCOM rented three trailers (for more than it would have cost to purchase them outright, since this is the government we're talking about...), squished them together into one "building", and last week we packed up all of our shit and walked it across the street.

The original building, which will be renovated and expanded

The new "Frankenbuilding" which will be our home for the next 18-24 months (estimated)

My old exam room, stripped of everything they could strip

My new exam room, before...

...And after.

We're supposed to open tomorrow at 8am. Unless the contractors came in and did more work... The surgical suite is still not finished. Most of the stuff that needs to be hanging on the wall, isn't. Our computers (AFAIK) are still not connected to the LAN, because the IMD ppl didn't show up at all last week to do it, after pestering us for a week as to when they could, and they were told March 1st.

In short, no, we're not ready, but we're doing it anyway.
