I recently discovered that custom downloaded content like eyes & hair can be handed down in families or "legacies". I got curious about it after seeing all the lovely entries in the recent
beautiful_sims contest which I also entered myself for fun.
I had previously just assumed that it would be impossible to pass on custom genetics, but my assumptions were wrong. Over the weekend I went on a downloading spree and added lots of new goodies to my game which was loads of fun. My Sims now have much better fashions and hair/makeup to choose from. Unfortunately I can't seem to get rawr files to work on my Mac no matter how many different programs I download and fidget with so that limits my options a lot.
I'm still getting used to using the camera in the game to get good shots of my Sims, but for the recent
beautiful_sims contest I had lots of fun trying to get good shots of my best looking "Born In Game Female Adult" who is really a "young adult" at "university" since none of my "born in game" Sims have aged into full adults yet. My best looking "born in game" Sims are all males really. My "born in game" male Sims seem to turn out pretty stunning most of the time and are prettier than the girls.
Here are some recent photos I took for my submission to the recent
beautiful_sims contest. Some of them were not used for my entry.
