She's a long-range transport ship. Great for carryin' folk or cargo, but she ain't meant for fightin'.

Couldn't prove it by the number of scraps we been in, but most o' those have been on the ground.

Serenity takes care of us, long as we take care of her. It's just outside trouble we need to worry 'bout, mostly.

The Captain, Zoe an' Jayne do most of the protecting, when there's need to. Or Wash, if what we need is gettin' out real fast without gettin' hit by somethin'.
