After passing the twenty hour mark in his day of endless work, and with only two pages left to go on the paper due before the test before the second test, James Abrams sat bolt-upright, shuddered once, and surrendered his mind to sweet, soothing insanity.
Insanity was good for a time, but like all good things...
In a brief moment of clarity from the trials of lunacy, he thought ahead, pondering what was to come re: the second paper, and realized there was no other choice but to claw his way back through the tranquil forest of selfishness; climb hand over hand to the tippy-top of fulfilment ravine; eat of the breath-giving fruit of external stimuli; once again clothe himself in his fears; and traverse the foamy, roaring sea of the subconcious so that he might make good on his promise to one day return to his beloved, the Princess Who Lives Up To The Standards Set By Parents.
Now all he had to do was free himself from the warmly-embracing gossamer threads of his nemesis, The Lazy Hunter's, perfectly placed internet (who would expect an enemy to so capably conceal such an elaborate boobytrap at the tips of their fingers? It was diabolical!) so he could begin his harrowing journey.
